"Much better than expected considering the age of the property"

Initially wanted to book a jacuzzi villa, coz the photos of the deluxe rooms did not give them justice. Fortunately my friend who had stayed in Veranda High b4 advised me to try out their deluxe room and I wasn't disappointed. In fact, Verandah High gave me such a good impression that I got disappointed with my subsequent stay with Zensala (a boutique resort that sits next to the ping river). Verandah High made a conscientious effort to ensure that mosquitoes do not become a distracting factor during your stay. The design of the hotel gives guests a feeling of relaxation. The highlight of the hotel is it's infinity pool that overlooks the mountain area surrounding the resort. Go to Higher Room (the restaurant next to the pool) for breakfast and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. It's a hotel that I will definitely recommend friends!

The hotel is nice and the staff is very pleasant and willing to accommodate all reasonable requests.The property from the pictures appears to be much larger – the pool is small and becomes crowded very quickly.The design aspects of the property lead to high maintenance requirements which at time are not practical for a hotel. The property is about 5 years old, however appears to be much older and is in need of work to retain standards that I suspect the designer imagined.Limited restaurant options within the property and while the property does offer transportation services to the city there are two fixed departures every day with fixed return times.We stay 3 nights and the area can be discovered in 2 nights/3 days.

The hotel is located in a very nice scenic view of mountain. Our room is deluxe type, with adequate space. The receptionist at Front office who registered us was not giving us a warmth welcome, which mean she couldn't clarify our questions good enough and no smile. Not enough staff at the Front office and the Library. However, the rest of the service from the restaurant's staff were satisfied.
