"London with great value"
15th September 2013, Auckland
This hotel is very well located, which is its best feature. Kensington Palace and Hyde Park are on your doorstep. Getting to it on the underground, (Piccadilly Line) from Earls Court station is really simple, which makes the rest of London easy to access as well. Rooms are small, but adequate and the staff are pleasant. Breakfast is fine, but outside of that this is not a hotel to plan any dinning experiences in.View management response »

"Compact "small double room""
13th September 2013, bureaucracyhater
Clean room, comfortable bed but tiny with no space for a laptop. Shower about 6'6" (2m) high - right against the ceiling with a halogen ceiling lamp a couple of feet in front. When you're 6'6" tall, this is worrying! No useful room in the wardrobe unless the ironing board is taken out - and you can find somewhere else to put it!Staff all helpful and friendly. Breakfast OK. Evening menu limited.View management response »
Management responseDear Bureucracyhater, Thank you for your review. Our rooms vary in size from small, compact, doubles to very spacious king executive and privilege rooms. Our compact doubles are on the small side and I can assure we are continuously looking at ways to improve comfort in those rooms. I was glad to read that staff were helpful. I do hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the near future. Kindest regards, Georgiana PusnavaHotel Manager
""More than pleasantly surprised""
30th August 2013
Our stay began stay with a warm welcome and an upgrade to one of their executive rooms. The room was very spacious and the bed really comfortable.Location is perfect for central London with Earl's Court tube station a few minutes away on foot The hotel is very clean, all the facilities one could want and staff are very courteous & helpful. What more can one ask for? We will return and will recommend to others too.View management response »

"Great hotel in a great location."

This hotel was in a great location for walking parts of London and acessing various tube stations. Our room was very clean and well equipped, if a little on the small side, and the bed was very comfortable.View management response »

Hotel is in good location if you prefer to stay out of the crowds, but within easy 5 minute walk to tube and access to everything, 2 minutes to grocery chain for those all important snacks, and a variety of eateries close by, from good hamburgers to other simple fare. Front desk service was excellent and breakfast staff were always eager to please. Had the king size bed room and while not opulent, was comfortable. Room was clean, very quiet, so no road noise interfered with sleep, and bed and pillows was comfortable. Internet was free (although I think they would like to charge for high-speed service but I was not going to pay for that) but it worked well. If they were to charge extra for privilege room, it would not be worth the extra cost as there is no value add to it. What was nice was the complimentary soda (4) and water (2) in the small fridge. No place is perfect, but it met my expectations and the stay was comfortable as I extended several times. The main negatives with older London hotels, is that there is always some disrepair and corridors are often smaller. The single small elevator can be a nuisance and the sliding wardrobe doors in several rooms do not glide as well as they should. Breakfast was included in my booking and it was consistent with most hotels in this price category. Coffee was good though, and plentiful. My only advice is to shop around for best price.but in the 100-150 GBP range (summer peak pricing), and for London, the hotel is acceptable for the location.View management response »

"Would recommend this Hotel. Excellent value."
31st July 2013, Kate M, Inverness, United Kingdom
Hotel was in a good location, good value and even had breakfast, free soft drinks from the minibar and bathrobes included. It was easy to book online. Room was clean, breakfast was tasty. Only drawback it was very hot in London and couldn't open windows for fresh air and shower was a bit dodgy and the shower rail was slightly broken. Overall would highly recommend this Hotel and would stay again.View management response »

"An overnight stay in London"
14th July 2013, CAROLINE B, New Romney, United Kingdom
We stayed one night at this hotel. Staff were charming and helpful. The hotel was clean, and the room was fine - maybe a bit small but that did not bother us. Free soft drinks were provided in room fridge which was a nice touch. Breakfast was very good. Hotel staff were helpful and booked an open top bus tour when we asked about it. We will stay there again.View management response »
