"Very nice Stay"

We stayed at the Mecure for one night as we were going to a concert. The location is great for the centre of Nottingham and we were within a very short walk of the Capital FM Arena and both theatres. We loved the fact that earplugs were provided as we knew that Nottingham is a party town. We had a fantastic nights sleep in the 6ft wide bed and the facilities provided were excellent. On the Sunday we visited Nottingham Castle which is an absolute must just to see the castle Rock takes you back to your childhood! Great breakfast on Sunday morning with extremely pleasant and helpful staff. We will be back.

"Beautiful city centre hotel"

I booked 2 rooms, 1 kingsize for the best men and a suite for myself and hubby on the night before and after the wedding. I didnt get the room i have originally been shown and had requested but the one we were given was probably nicer just slightly smaller! The room was spacious, bright and with all mod cons and every freebie you can think off that you might have forgotten to pack which was a bonus! I booked online months ago to take advantage of better prices.

"A good weekend"

Overall the stay was good but at breakfast the bread for toast was mouldy! The waitress helped and got some fresh bread but I wonder how long the bread was there for to allow it to get mouldy! The hotel was in a great area in the city and although there are clubs nearby we were not disturbed. I would go again but perhaps not for breakfast!

"Mecure - Ideal for the centre of Nottingham"

Hotel very convient for the lace market tram stop and for city centre shopping and theatres. New decor in an old building works well, rooms really clean and breakfast well worth the money. One tip if you are not planning to go out to 2am on a Saturday morning ask for a top floor room on George Street side of the building. As it was quiet noisy until about 1am on the 3rd floor on the Carlton St side.

"central but challenged by parking issues"

While a reasonable hotel centrally placed in Nottingham .. be careful if you plan to arrive by car! It is difficult to find .. hidden amongst the tramways and the one way system. Do not park outside the hotel and ask where the car park is! This will involved you having to go round the entire one way system again (or in our case twice more) to get to the nearby multi-storey car park,.

Excellent hotel, excellent staff, excellent location what more can i say. The rooms are stylish and clean, the staff are warm, friendly and welcoming, the service of the staff when called upon is excellent. The location is excellent and everything in the city is just 5-10 minutes walk.

"Fabulous but tiny!"

An excellent hotel and very central. The car park is only a hop skip and jump away so don't let that put you off. The rooms thouveal ell equipped are completely tiny so don't intend to stay in them for very long!
