"Great stay"

I travelled with my 7 year old daughter to Madrid for 3 nights, this hotel was perfect! Clean, bright & cheery inside. Breakfast was complete with many choices & served until 11 which is good for late risers! The front desk staff was muy amable! I would definitely return to this hotel......also very convenient to the airport express bus stop at Cibeles Plaza a 10 min walk or 5Euro cab ride (raining when we left) to bus stop. Muchas Gracias Ibis Prado para un buen viaje!!!

The hotel is in a very good location. The service is good. The only problem is that I got a really small room, having a single window on an internal stair facing a small court. But the cost was really convenient.

The hotel was recentely renovated, with a jovial decor (don't expect it to be chic, but that's the way of these "Styles" series of Ibis Hotels). Amazing breakfest buffet (way better than other superior hotels I've been) and it is free. To only thing I missed was a fridge in the room. And it's located at a walking distance from the major turistic spots of Madrid: Plaza Mayor, Museo Del Prado, Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol...

I stayed in this hotel for a total of 4 nights on 2 occasions split up by a trip to see family. The room I had was a single inside room (which means room x09). A you would expect from the descrption online the implication is that the room does not have a view onto the street, it does however have no view at all. Whilst there is a window, room 309 looked out onto the emergency exit coridor and 509 has been boarded over.I thought that as it was an inside room there would be little noise. WRONG. The coridor outside is surfaced in wood instead of carpet with the end result that every footstep going past sounds akin to a heard of elephants. The doors on the other rooms sound like a bank vault closing shut. And as for the other guests, inconsiderate does not even begin to cover them. Screaming children at all hours running up and down the coridor, speaking at the tops of voices (one woman one night had a voice akin to a cruise ship horn blaring). Smoking on the stairwell adjacent to the room seems to be an all too common habit with the 'social' chatter that tends to accompany. The hotel itself is actually not that bad but could be improved by more soundproofing measures, carpet in the coridor to deaden footsteps and some enforcement of law concerning the indoor and unsubtle smoking.

Agreeably refurbished hotel, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast included, friendly, efficient staff, free internet. Only slight quibble is that sound insulation could be better. Location is excellent, by the way

Very ideally located in the heart of sightseeing area.The staff was very supportive in guiding about local sightseeing, setting the wifi on the laptop,finding directions for required restaurants.Lots of hotels offering various variety of food located nearby.Taxis are available easily.Best location for Family & friends visits.

Excellent location near the heart of Madrid city, very close to Puerta del Sol and several metro station, 10-15 min walk from Atocha main train station. Located at nice lively neighborhood with lot of restaurants, bars, close to many squares/plaza. Very good reception service, nice breakfast. Clean rooms but most of them with very poor view (internal rooms). Bad wifi internet connection.

Hotel locates in ga ood spot in the town between Sol and Prado. We enjoyed walking to most spots in the city. Breakfast was nice and a room we stayed was neat and clean. Lobby space is also spacious and comfortable to have a rest after check-out. Only a problem was a drainage floor plan of the bath room. As shower room floor is higher, and drainage is not exactly located in the lowest spot, the floor is often soaked. It seems that this is a common problem in some economical Accor Hotels in my experiences – modern and clean don’t mean functional. However, I still feel that the hotel has a good cash value. I will choose it when I visit Madrid again.

Excellent location in the old part of Madrid, with most sites to visit including museums within easy walking distance. Plenty of choice in restaurants that should meet just about anyones preference. Not a luxury place, but well kept and quiet.
