Checkin was great, Daniel or David (can't exactly remember the name) was very friendly yet professional. Room was completely clean. Breakfast was very basic, was expecting a bit more selection.

The window had been left open in Room 505 when I arrived. When I closed it, I discovered why. The foul stench emanating from the shower drain was so overpowering it was impossible to be in the room without the window being open. Two nights of loud street noise, traffic fumes and little sleep. Staff were apologetic but that's all.

Good location for Stratford car park and Aldgate/Whitechapel tube. Easy access to central London on district line. Close to tower bridge, brick lane markets, with direct access to all attractions in central London. Room small but perfect. Air conditioning that works, secure access with door and lift keys and surprisingly quiet even with street view. Clean shower and toilet, very, very comfortable beds. All you need for a perfect stopover. Good cheap breakfast available.
