"IBIS Tianjin Railway Station"
9th September 2013, Monkee_magic
Clean and friendly, room was spacious and bathroom more than adequate, extremely good value for the money. Breakfast for a westerner was ok, toast, muesli and coffee, but a full Chinese breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay there again.
"Big room, weird Location"
25th June 2013, kangzherong, Zhengzhou, China
Although it is called ibis Tianjin Station, it is not close to the Station. It is about 15 mins of walking distance (1 bus stop) from the train station. It is strangely located on the edge of a slum(having that almost all Chinese railway stations are surrounded by poor neighborhoods) and a newly built Ritz Carlton which is right next to the river. Rooms are big, and all have big couches inside. Windows are big too, which could provide you with good views of the city (despite the pollution of northern China). But all the rooms have very strong smell of cigarettes(I'm not sure if they have non-smoking rooms). But if you open the window and keep the ac on, the smell can go away.
"Tianjin - a good place to stay"
18th January 2012, Dalian (China)
IBIS Tianjin is a good hotel to stay in. The rooms are larger than most IBIS hotels and this was good. It is within walking distance to the main shopping street and of course the railway station but buses are also available. There are good restaurants nearby particularly the one about 100 meters behind the hotel.
