"Couldn't want for more."
27th January 2013, pyroTDublin, Dublin
I stayed on business with 2 colleagues. I had already booked when my colleagues followed for convenience. So I was particularly happy NOT to have led them to a bad hotel. This hotel was in a fairly good location for what I wanted. This is made easier by the fact that the Metro in Brussels is very good. The room assigned to me was on the 7th floor and was large and most importantly quiet. The hotel overall was very good and kept very clean. I only stayed 1 night, so I didn't get to experience the customer service all that much, however when checking in and out the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was simple and not very adventurous, however that is to be expected in Belgium and many other European countries. In short, I would be happy to stay there again and in fact have already recommended it to two colleagues who will visit Brussels shortly.
"Nice hotel, bathroom outdated! No wifi in room"
20th January 2013, Den Haag
Hotel is conveniently located in a more posh area of Brussels. Close to shops and easy access by car. Car parking is relatively cheap and located under the hotel. Executive rooms are well equipped and spacious though lack wifi (UTP is present- payable) !! If you would like to avoid street noise ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Espresso machine in the room but no real cups are provided, you get cardboard cups instead :-( Bathroom is the biggest disappointment, although everything is working it's so early '90-ties. Bathtub is too small and the shower is louzy (no rainshower); on top of that the floor gets all wet while showering. I have visited many Mercure hotels in less prestigious cities but their bathrooms were all much better designed and functional.
"Could be better for the price"
21st December 2012, chb072, Ra'anana, Israel
First night we got to the hotel (3 of us) we went up to our room and great surprise no armoire/cupboard whatsoever! just 5 hangers hanging in some kind of a recess in the wall. we went down to the lobby and initial response from the shift manager was that we must be mistaken. After a long argument and demands to solve our problem, the guy went to our room and came back saying all rooms are like this. Another long argument and then the guy "upgraded" us to a so called premium room. I had a small cupboard but shabby carpet, old looking bathroom etc. I feel that for this price we should have got a much better room and much better service/attention. Will not come back!
"Decent enough but lacking wifi in bedrooms"
20th December 2012, toolio2000, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom
Decent enough hotel for the price I paid (about 70 euros a night).Situated about a 5 minute walk from Louise/Louisa metro stop.Wifi access only in reception/foyer area. Would expect it to be in bedrooms as well.
"low value for money + unhelpful staff"
24th November 2012, MarekLdn, LDN
This place is not worth the price. The staff are unhelpful. The room was not ready when I arrived and nobody bothered finding a solution. They just told me to come back later. They insisted that I pay for breakfast (which I already paid for when I booked) and when I was checking out they wanted to charge me extra for the use of the internet although it was included in the price of my stay and I also had confirmed that with them when I checked in.
"Very good"
15th November 2012, Igor647382, Moscow, Russia
Very good hotel near the city main shopping area. Spacey room. Cosy interiors in Mercure style, however need some innovation. Tram on the street may be a little noisy. Not very close to city historical center .

"Nice coffee machine, shame about the toilet brush"
8th May 2012, OldWill628, London, United Kingdom
I regularly use Accor group hotels, mainly Ibis or Mercure for business travel. I prefer the Mercure level of comfort above the fairly basic Ibis and particularly appreciate the new coffee machines they have installed in the Mercure Brussels Centre Louise. I find it very nice to be able to make a hot drink in the room. I also appreciate the ease of booking rooms, often at short notice, and the generally good central locations for the hotels. Generally the levels of cleanliness and comfort are good and, as business hotels, they "do what they say on the tin". The Mercure Brussels Centre Louise is well located and also has a good bar and restaurant.I have only two gripes. One is, on occasion, a lack of attention to detail, particularly with sink plugs or lights that don't work in rooms that have just been prepared. The second is the lack of a toilet / loo brush in the room. I have never found one (in either and Ibis or a Mercure hotel) and I must assume that it is a policy decision not to entrust hotel guests with one, but for the life of me I can't think why. It would surely make the jobs of those cleaning and preparing the rooms just a bit better.
"Hotel Central Brussels"
24th March 2012, Brighton, United Kingdom
Fairly central (about 15 minutes walk from Grand Place). There is a public car park that is accessed from hotel. Good value and rooms had all facilities - including kettle with tea and coffee (although we had trouble persuading the bar staff to give us some extra tea bags!). Bed comfortable, although air conditioning was too warm.
"OK Accomodation: Rubbish Breakfast"
3rd March 2012, Putneyspice, London, United Kingdom
This is a charmless business hotel in the middle of Brussels. After my stay I received an invitation from "accorhotels" to let them know about my experience, and my indifference towards the place is so overwhelming that had not the Tripadvisor link popped up, I really wouldn't have bothered. Even now I rather wish I hadn't.Very little to add other than the breakfast was rubbish: fruit salad made with tinned fruit, fatty ham and salami, and, by its appearance a cucumber than had been sliced in the previous century. The only saving grace was a very friendly, charming and pretty receptionist called Isabel, who checked me out perfectly, so to speak.Stay there if you have to; I've certainly seen worse, but few less interesting.
"GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY"
9th January 2012, Lugano, Switzerland
Mercure Louise enjoys a prime positioning. It is at a 5 minutes walk from the famous Louise Street. Publictransportation available at proximity can take you to city center. We did not have the chance to experience the roomservice, but in general front desk and cleaning staff is friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Rooms are decently furnished (though no closed wardrobe) andspacious. The bed could accommodate 2 adults and a child and the mattress is extremely comfortable. The only fallbackis the bathroom. While clean, the finishing is certainly not up to a 4 stars standard (towel shelf leaning, wholes on thewalls, traces of humidity on the ceiling, etc). Overall, good value for money.
"Very good hotel in Brussels center"
7th October 2011, BG-ZH, Zürich
Very good location in the heart of Brussels. Lot of restaurants and shopping around, close to the Louise Metro station. The room was big, quiet, clean and nice. Breakfast was very good. During exhibitions time, the rooms are quite expensive.
