The environment, setting, scenery, atmosphere and cleanliness were excellent. The customer service may need a little improvement though. Otherwise it is a beautiful, quite place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay good value ,we have stayed there affair few times now and this is the first time Accor have given me points can they be back dated? That would encourage me to continue going there as I am also a member of Rydges and my points now give me better value and naturally that encourages me to return

"Disappointing"

Very disappointed as this is a very expensive Hotel but we had to move rooms as the first one wasnt clean and neither was the next. Roaches on floor / ants on balcony / toilet brush rusted and dirty / yellow awful silicone around bath / had to bend down to put head under shower as it was set too low. Staff very friendly polite and helpful - Location BeautifulHotel needs some TLC

"Breathtaking Views"

The hotel is well placed in the mountains with spectacular views - very quiet and serene.Our only complaint - our room was missing a jug and cups and saucers even though we had tea and coffee provisionsOtherwise enjoyable stay.

Who would believe that just 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of a busy railway station in the Brisbane suburbs, one could drive to a serene quiet location peeping through the clouds. From the moment you round the bend after the steep mountain climb, and you see this grand mountain lodge, you feel like you are in another world. Upon entering the foyer you are greeted with so much warmth you feel that they have actually been waiting for you to arrive. In actual fact, we even received a phone call while driving up the mountain asking us if we would like to book a table for dinner!!!! The dinner....well it was absolutely delicious as was the breakfast!! I would recommend this place to anyone!!

this place is exellent for peace and quiet, service was excellent, food was really good you could go there just for the food. It was an excellent place to stay at The accommodation was very clean and tidy Its other facalities gym etc was good

As we were there in wet season, & because I'm aided by a walking stick, it was disconcerting to use the stairs to Rm 31 with side rails when the wooden walkways were wet. the stairs outside the Dining rm areas would better service persons ( esp. the disadvantaged) with hand-rails up the center of stairs, and rebate any bolts used to secure same. Sure footed personel are not the best trades OH & S ideas people.If on a return visit, I would look to see your response to this. Also a couple of tread strips along the wooden walkways would help minimize the skid factor of possible future injury claims. Then I could 'recommend' CML, knowing others would not have the difficulty I had experienced. Otherwise lovely place.

"Our Stay at Clear Mountain Lodge"

Very comfortable night. Pleasant surroundings and lovely staff. Would recommend Clear Mountain to anybody looking for a relaxing stay. The bar staff were extremely happy and obliging and the restaurant was great service and gorgeous meals. Compliments to the Chef and staff of the kitchen. We experienced Clear in the rain and clouds and it was beautiful.

"A bit of indulgence"

Food excellent with the exception of a rather rubbery snapper for dinner one night.Service could not be faulted. Staff were very friendly and made sure I was looked after.Left the balcony door open and had to deal with a mosquito one night. Bad but not your fault.Forgot to leave aclub membership form at reception. have joined online since. I hope it is possible to be given credits in retrospect in this case?

"So serene yet so convenient"

After a little trepidation due to an initial less than happy or helpful phone call with one of the receptionists, our weekend at the Clear Mountain Lodge lived up to all expectations, as Sarah rectified all that and looked after us very well during our stay. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and such a short distance from Brisbane seemed a million miles away in the stillness and serenity of Clear Mountain. We had a fabulous room with a magnificent outlook over to the mountains in one direction and to the City in the other. We appreciated the little welcome goodies and were excited to see a koala on the tree very close to our balcony! We enjoyed the pool which we had to ourselves and wished we had brought our rackets for a game of tennis but were just as glad to relax on the balcony and soak up the view and admire the cute koala.Our dinner that night was delicious and beautifully presented and our breakfast was equally delicious even though the full buffet was not available - a little perplexing considering the number of guests we saw enjoying breakfast that morning. Of course the stunning early view more than compensated for this. All together, a truly memorable Anniversary weekend.

"Views Galore"

The Lodge is a restful spot, beautiful views we did not use the pool/tennis court, so could not give Excellent rating. On our next stay we hope to use these facilities. The only thing missing in the rooms was a radio and a couple of the Fox channels could not be viewed, also water goes under the shower door making the floor quite wet near floor outlet. There are a number of steps one has to negotiate, to us this was not a problem but to other patrons it maybe. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Thankyou C & D

"Weekend getaway"

We were lookin for a tranquil setting not far from Brisbane to get away for a night. With three young children - we wanted to relax and unwind - an Clear Mountain Lodge was perfect. The view from our room was spectacular and we enjoyed the privacy. A visit to Stephanies spa just topped off the whole experience. Amazing!

The view from Clear Mountain Lodge is exceptional, even better at night than day. The ala carte menu at night was one of the best meals I have had dining out for some time. My spa experience was superb and it definitely helped me relax and enjoy my short stay seem even longer. The only whinge is that the stairs were a pain to get my luggage up and down, but that's not much and it's all over in a moment.

"Could be great"

Avoid staying when a wedding reception is on if you are planning a quiet visit or ensure your room is not near reception or guest rooms.Other than the above and a bit short staffed at times it was great.Would definitely return.

Last year a conscious decision was made to hold our wedding receptions away from our main building this step was to limit the impact that our weddings had on our leisure guests. We totally appreciate that all of our guests should be afforded the right to be able to relax and enjoy our location for the reasons that they are there for.Our practice is to allocate all wedding guests together in one area of the property with all leisure guests in another this eliminates any cross over with noise allowing all guest gets to enjoy the location uninterrupted. Unfortunately on this occasion your room was not placed elsewhere which did result in your stay being impacted, for this we are extremely embarrassed and apologetic. "Mid week Break"

This lodge, high in the mountains, boasts spectacular views across to Brisbane's city skyline. We chose it for our mid-week getaway. Check in was smooth and the room was clean and comfortable. Our meals were quite sumptuous, complemented by a great wine selection. The staff were very welcoming, professional and most personable. We have no hesitation in recommending this stay.

"Our stay"

We booked an overnight stay through the Accor website as we had been wanting to go to this property for some time. We were very pleased with our room which overlooked Lake Samsonvale and also had views east towards Moreton Island. The atmosphere of Clear Mountain Lodge was one of restfulness and relaxation in a quiet, bushland setting. The staff were all courteous, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast next morning. We had intended to stay for lunch but left late morning as we felt we would be unable to do it justice. After all, we do have to have an excuse to go back up the mountain for lunch one Sunday, don"t we? So near to the city and yet it seems so far from the hustle and bustle. It seems to be a secret place as there were not many guests when we were there - such a shame. We will definitely return.
