"DON'T STAY HERE!!!"

I travel a lot for work (regional NSW, interstate and international) and this has to be up there with the worst hotel I have stayed in. I booked online and paid the rate to stay in one of the better rooms, however when I got there I found that I had been downgraded to a room that is all but in the middle of the intersection between two highways. One of my colleagues had paid less for the same type of room.The bed was hard, the bathroom was old and dodgy, it was impossible to open the window to get some fresh air (not that you could have it open all night as it was so noisy), and despite being 7 months pregnant, they still put me on a first floor room so I had to lug my heavy bag up a flight of stairs.I also found the reception staff to be rude and abrupt. There are lots of other better hotels in Tamworth. This will be the LAST time I stay at this place!

Stayed one night on our travel through NSW. The place was nice, comfortable And clean.. Location good. Value for money. Staff friendly. Little bit of traffic noise but not so you couldn,t sleep, shower was great. For 3.5 stars it was worth the stop over in Tamworth.

"Overnight stay"

Our stay was very pleasurable,both reception and restaurant staff were pleasant and helpful,room was clean and tidy and met our expectations.Dinner at the restaurant was excellent and it only a short stroll to the town centre.

"Good value in the country"

"Good overall Hotel"

Rooms were standard, a little run down, comfortable , although some traffic noise. Restaurant served very nice meals, and decent portions. Hotel is central to town with plenty of parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

"Short stay"

Found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was clean but starting to show its age. The restaurant meal was good but service was a bit slow - took about 1 hour and only had one course. In general this is a good motel and handy to town.
"Beware the word "Refurbished""

We booked a room through Accor. The room was labelled 'Refurbished' and we assumed it would have a reasonably new bed. However the mattress was old and about the same as one we had there two years ago when I had a terrible night's sleep. At the time the assured me the beds were in the process of being replaced and i assumed a refurbished room would have a newer bed. After a "stand off" with the staff when I refused to pay more to be upgraded we were eventually moved to a 'superior' room but even here the mattress was poor. Apart from that, the motel was O.K. The dining room was good value (with the Accor discount).

"Attention to detail seems to be lacking."

Having stayed at this property on a number of previous occaisions, we found on this visit that the property seemed to have slipped backwards somewhat. The curtain was torn in two places, garbage (5 plastic bags) was left near our door all night, and was spred around by animals (cats?) next morning. At dinner, both of my knives were dirty and had to be replaced. We were very disapointed, as we have never had a bad experience in a Accor site since joining 5 years ago and have stayed at Accor properties Australia wide many times.

Central to Tamworth which was very handy.Unfortunately the staff didn't seem to want to be there. 3 receptionists argued over who would have to serve me when I was checking in which wasn't a good start.There was hair on my pillow and hair in the bed and the pillowcase was soiled, but I didn't think it was worth going back to reception to ask for new sheets.Won't be going back.

We stayed at this hotel for the second year, for the country music festival because of its excellent location. Hotel is clean, comfortable,quiet and staff are friendly. Unfortunately they are only taking coach tours for next year so there are a lot of dissappointed repeat country music festival customers.

"Nth West"

large motel, very basic rooms, short on water saving technology in bathroom such as dual flush toilets and water saving shower heads, With only a CRT TV the quality of the entertainment facility was poor in that most prgograms are in 16:9. The airconditioner compressor unit was noisy and it had to be used as the street noise from the bathroom windows could not be reduced. Over all I will probably find an alternative accommodation when staying in Tamworth. A

"GREAT STOP OVER ON THE NEW ENGLAND HIGHWAY"

Have stayed here on a number of occasions and found the staff friendly and attentive. Nice Restaurant but as I say ADVANTAGE PLUS CARD WELCOMED HERE and the restaurant was great value. The rooms were nice and clean but they will need a renovation soon and the Plasma LCD TV wont go astray. The pool was nice and clean and the facilities including parking are abundant. You can take a short walk down to the main street of Tamworth with a number of clubs and hotels that you can walk back from.

"Brief stay"

I recomend this hotel, not for the location, or cost of the rooms, (which via the Accor Memeber Website was expensive vs on the day available rate), but for the staff attentiveness and helpfullness. They are excellent.The dinner menu was good and the food very nice, although the wine list could be alittle more regional. Executive Spa room beds are superb.

"Very Disapointed."

For the money i paid it was unexceptable. The staff at All Seasons Tamworth Towers Hotel should be reviewed. The towels were worn thin and had holes in them.The restaurant for breakfast was closed on the first day of our stay and was told to order room service which we did, to be told that we had to return the tray to reception. Other room service trays were sitting outside all day to be collected.My invoice information stated that we were to have the hot buffet breakfast both days. We were told that we were only allowed the continental breakfast. My husband stated that he was only allowed special food, he was told that he could have SOME of the hot buffet and i was only to have the continental breakfast. On this morning of our breakfast one staff member was appallingly dressed. Her hotel blouse was unironed and her hair was unexceptable for the position she was in. A number of staff continually talked to themselves while we waited for service. When handing in the keys i bevieve it was the chef that ended our account for us. Not one of the staff thanked us for staying with them , no goodbye, or enjoy your trip. They continued to talk between themselves.As i am a store manager of a exclusive ladies fashion chain i found that the service was unexceptable. I will in future be very aware of accor hotels as to staying with you again.

"Tamworth Treat"

the best feature about this hotel is the location. It is a short walk across the bridge to the cental pubs and clubs of Tamworth. As we were here for New Years Eve, this was a real plus.The room lis large and comfortable, and the large windows overlook a parkland full of trees, so its a grat changes for the standard "no view" or next dors windows. The downside was the windows were splatted with bird droppings. The staff there are very helpful, and looked after us very well.The restaurant was better than good and exceptional value with the 2 for 1 deal of advantageplus and the wine markup very reasonable. Our bottle was only $20.Our 3 days there were very comfortable. We'd stay there again.
