"Winter Escape"

The Mecure apartments is the only place I will stay in the Hunter from now on... Its a great complex, the service is top notch, and if you are a golfer being right on the Vintage is spectacular!!!The apartments are beautiful, and well appointed! great bathrooms and the fireplace was awesome!!!

good central location, with great golf course with very reasonable fees. modern apartment but needs a bit of maintenance. resort facilities very good. Single room apartments are downstairs and can be noisy from second story guests. excellent restaurant and bar in main clubhouse
"Our Holiday"

A great setting, sensational from the intial drive in. The apartments are set amoungst really beautiful surrounding. The only down sides to the trip were: no cable TV; and, the towels didn't get changed over the 3 day stay (although I'm not sure if this was clearly stated upon making the resivation).Finally, the resturant was super! Food and service was exceptional.

Love the concept of staying at an apartment with very contemporary design and absolutely great bed that made my husband sleep soundly and the best sleep he's had ever. It was for his birthday too. Definitely will recommend and come back soon.

Love the location and setting also Golf Club Restaurant adjacent to the Mercure. Kitchen well equiped and great BBQ setting and BBQ. Furnished tastfully with attention to detail.Grounds of the Resort well maintained. Resort well located in Centre of Hunter Valley Wineries and attractions.
"Accommodation Excellent, Food Disappointing"

The room was wonderful with a lounge, kitchen, dining. two flat screen TVs, spa bath and stainless BBQ with hood. We would highly recommend it. However, the meals are served in a restaurant which is not owned by Accor, so we could not obtain the usual two-for-one meal rate. The breakfast was nothing special, the same as you get at an Ibis, but the bacon, mushroom and eggs had run out and only the latter was eventually replaced. We did pay the Accor rate for breakfast which was $24 instead of $32, but it was not good value. It was a shame, because the room itself was brilliant. Next time I will cook my own meals, as the kitchen is very well set up with Smeg appliances.

Apartment spacious and comfortable, area quiet and pretty, nearby restaurants plentiful.However GPS address is McDonalds Rd (not Vintage Dr) and not many shops in area so get breakfast supplies before Hunter Valley.

Cupboards too high for wife (5') didn't find all items needed, apparently in cupboard above fridge which couldn't open.

Had a great stay. The only thing to remember when staying here is that the resteraunt is not part of accor. They still gave us a deal ($32 down to $24) for the full buffet breakfast, but we did have to ask. Also would have loved a room with a view of the course. Overall was a great stay very close to the heart of the vineyards!

A great place with a great outlook.Quite but with fabulous vineyards & restaurants close by.The apartment (complete eith internal access garge) was well appointed & roomy.good furnishings and layout.Loved the outdoor eating area.Would like to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Vintage, the room was lovely and the bed was very comfy! The staff in the clubhouse were very friendly. It was nice and close to the concert and close the main Hunter shops and winery;s.Thanks - we will be back.
