"One night only"

Have stayed at this hotel before and was happy both times. there was a problem with the aircon in our room and the manager found us another room. Breakfast could be better - aimed at asian tastes - seaweed and rice soup as well as toast, muffins etc. Not a bad breakfast but could do with some sliced cheeses and meats.

We had a room with the balcony, while some of the fixtures in the room were older everything worked well. breakfast was excellent. This is our preferred motel to stay at in Cairns. It was not flashy but very comfortable.

"Pretty poor for the price"

Hotel was presented well, but bathroom was dirty and found toothpicks in shower. The dispensers were empty in the shower so I was lucky to have my own products. The elevator does not work properly and got quite scary when did not stop properly or in line with level of the floor.

"Disappointed"

PRO'S:Location was good and the rooms were of a reasonable size. Pool was great for the kids and the Friday afternoon drinks and snacks by the pool was great.CONS:We were somewhat disappointed. The room was not overly well cleaned and the air conditioning was far from adequate considering the climate. The coolest we could get the room was 26 degrees. The staff member on duty was extremely helpful and an attempt was made to move us but the other room was worse.We were also disappointed to find out on our arrival that the restaurant was closed for the weekend.OVERALL:A good Hotel which needs an upgrade a a few areas.

very good - friendly service, restaurant very good especially Monique in the evenings.The only negative issue was TV - the antenna was unable to deal with the digital channels but is in the process of being upgraded so the issue will cease in the future.The location is ideal, although parking is more of a major issue - with only a few places out the front, and metered parking elsewhere at 1$ hr during day hours. I highly recommend the hotel though - great staff and well maintained rooms and facilities.

"Don't take your car to town"

The staff were very friendly and the reception area with lounge and tea coffee facilities were very pleasant. The included continental breakfast was good quality and served in a very pleasant room overlooking a small pool. The rooms were very dingy and cramped. Obviously an older property with some renovations.The location was within easy walking distance of Central Cairns, shops buses railway waterfront and restaurants.. There was plenty of noise from the street which disturbed our first night's sleep. We were driving a rental car and the claimed Off-street parking consisted of seven spots, two of which were occupied permanently by the building maitenance man. The receptionist response to this was the statement "there is plenty of street parking". Most of this is time controlled or meter parking by day. Fortunately the car rental office was next door and made the car return easy.

We have currently renovated 11 rooms and repainted the exterior of the hotel and in the recent future will continue updating our property. All Seasons Cairns is centrally located and walking distance to various locations and attractions. Our rates include a continental breakfast which is value for money with travellers on a budget. "Sleepless night"

The room had an odour and seemed stuffy, making it difficult to sleep. the Airconditioner, did not seem to be working properly. The staff at the front desk were arrogant and not helpful when we enquired about the time the room would be ready, so we could plan our day. Disappointed.

"Excellent location"

We stayed at All Seasons for 4 nights. The location of the hotel was great for us. Near enough to the Esplanade and Bars etc, only a 5 min walk. But far enough that it was quiet at night. Rooms were more that big enough. The Continental Breakfast included in the price was good - toast, fruit, muffins etc.My only complaint would be the water temperature in the shower. Often went from cold to very very hot without warning. Saying that we did return for 2 more nights after a trip to Townsville. If returning to Cairns we would certainly go back to All Seasons.

"Our Holiday Break in Cairns"

The room and service were rated average for this class of hotel. The TV needs to be upgraded and the window curtaining did not allow for the early morning light to be blocked.. The refrigerator was so noisy in operation that it had to be switched off at night. The restaurant pricing was not competitive given the abundance of establishments within a short walking distance. The reception staff were very good and invariably polite and helpful. The cleaning staff were adequate although a dead fly remained inside the shower for the duration of our stay. Parking for the rented car was difficult. Overall: good - but could be better.
