While the hotel is clean, tidy and comfortable, the immediate area outside the front entrance is filthy with broken glass, coffee cups and general rubbish littered about. The footpath obviously needs a good wash down.

"Good Family Value"

We stayed in a 2 bedroom appartment, It could of done with a bit more cleaning, the kitchen floor needed a mop. Fully self contained unit. Great location, was very kid friendly. The pool and BBQ area was great.

"Lovely over night stau"

Lovely service, perfect location and a comfortable nights sleep. Breakfast was nicely presented and the service was friendly. My husband and I didn't get to stay very long at he hotel due st attending a wedding and flying out the next day o get back home or work he next day.

"Nice Hotel"

Good location in a very pretty town. Staff are helpful and friendly. Very good Mexican themed restaurant that is very popular with the locals. Heritage listed lift in the building which is in it's self interesting. Have stayed here twice and will stay again when in the region.

"A cool room on a hot day"

We arrived in Mildura and it was 41C in the shade. The check in was efficient and the hotel, while looking a little tired, provided us with a good sized room with the air conditioning already on and providing a cool respite. The bed was fairly hard, but provided a good night's sleep. Water pressure in the shower was lacking and the shower is in the bathtub which necessitates climbing in. Otherwise a big bathroom. Great location meant we could swelter our way to many good restaurants for dinner.

Dining facility was very average. We expected a little better. Many good eating places around the hotel, however the facity you use is limited.Maybe you could consider providing a list of recommended facilities with their specialities noted..

Would like to see the restaurant have plain food example: snitz, steak & salads instead of mexican??? It would of been great to walk down stairs and go to the restaurant instead of driving around the town to find a place to eat.I would like to mention my husband and I stayed over night at the mecure on our driving trip to sydney we arrived on christmas day in the late afternoon. I rang reception to confirm our booking and to ask if the Restaurant would be open for christmas dinner no such luck only for lunch, no one place in Mildure was on on christmas Night! The lady at reception Sereen was brilliant!! she arranged with the Restuarant to have meals put aside for us have delivered to our room that night. The food was very generous in serving the best oven baked turkey & beef & veg and christmas pudding & custard we had ever had! Thank You chef! A big Thank You Sereen for helping and arranging that for us otherwise we would of had nothing eat and especially christmas day as we had to travel all day. Sereen Thanks for the great customer service and going that extra mile for us it was greatly appreciated, it is very rare now days!! to see customer service like that! Many Thanks Jodie Marchioro

"transit stopover"

central location a good day's journey from home with the resources to unwind, relax, sleep and move on. convenient off street parking and a modest swimming pool add to the attraction of this old hotel. Guests access to upstairs rooms could be made simpler if rear stair-cases were open for their use. the spa bath was enjoyed.

"Excellent stay"

We travelled with family and booked 3 of the 2 bedroom apartments. We were ALL impressed with the cleanliness, the quality of the rooms fitouts including the separate downstairs laundry (with additional WC) and VERY large and modern bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful, including those at the ajoining Mexican Restuarant. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to a number of things of interest including a short walk down to the river. The only issues for us were that the bed and pillows were a little firm for our liking and a couple of times found car parking an problem as there is no specific park allocation for hotel guests. But these are very minor and overall we rate this hotel highly and will certainly be recommending it to others .

Whilst the hotel was very clean and tidy it does tend to show its age. We stayed in a standard room within the main building which was certainly adequete for our short stay. This room offered no view with only a small window overlooking the old roof.The swimming pool's location did not afford guests in the main building with access without having to transverse the main reception area, restaurant and office areas which discouraged us from using this feature even though it was 37 degrees during our stay.
