We stayed for 2 nights this Eid and was checked in by wonderful Ms. Husna. She was so nice and very friendly and so accommodating. She’s very easy to talk to and she really made our stay delightful. She made us feel so welcomed. I really liked her because she’s very kind to us and provided all our requests. I hope she gets promoted and gets a good bonus and increment as she’s an asset to Sofitel downtown. The opera suites that we stayed in are amazing. I usually can’t sleep in hotel rooms but this time, I was able to sleep well. The suite was big and has still new furnishings. Very beautiful modern design. Pool area was also beautiful and you can smoke shisha there. We were served by Ms. Sylvia in The club lounge and she was also very sweet and have smile on her face. Canapés at the lounge were ok. Ms. Winnie of breakfast buffet was also really nice with us but breakfast buffet food was a disappointment for me. Me and my whole family didn’t like the food at the breakfast, it was limited and mostly Indian food but you can easily go to Dubai mall to get food, the only downside was it’s a bit far by walking even with travellator. It’s around 20minutes walking from metro station. Housekeeping staff were all very kind as well but I forgot to get their names. Overall, we enjoyed our Eid at Sofitel because of Ms. Husna and the rest of the team. Keep it up and thank you for giving us a first-class treatment. Kudos for the team.

This was my 10th Dubai visit, and I chose this hotel based on location. Let me just start with, avoid: 1. 0200 arrival: upsold at $$ extra price from luxury club room to suite, to have a Burj view. Room now at $600 aud a night 😬. Room not ready, 30 min check in 🤔 2. Into room, which was lovely, could hear disco music? woken from 4am by constant whirring and dinging. Bed on same wall as service elevator. 🤨 3. Ask to change in morning. By end of day, changed room. New room lovely, barely any BK view, view of 16 lanes of traffic and monorail tracks. So loud. Constant 🤨. 4. Toilets don't work. Fixed once. Embarrassing. Again, fixed twice. 🙄😬 Notes: Restaurants and clubs all empty. Business district, not tourist area.

Everything was perfect, rooms are spacious and clean, the view on Burj Khalifa is amazing. The breakfast is one of the most complete I have ever seen. The pool view is amazing. Special thank you for the hotel staff who was so Nice with us in particular Shashi our housekeeper who had a special attention for us every day, thank you so much !

Everyone was sincerely nice and made our stay extra special. This is my number one favorite hotel and I have stayed in numerous hotels all over the globe. My daughter had her Birthday while we were there, and the breakfast team surprised her with a lovely cake and sang for her. Also, when we got back to the room, it wast decorated with rose petals with HBD formed from the roses on the bed, plus another Birthday cake. My daughter was so over the moon. Here are the highlights worth mentioning: The lady from Myanmar at the reception who welcomed me on my arrival past midnight - was a really happy welcome and the very respectful porter who helped me with my suitcase. Les Cuisine - Every breakfast time was pure joy. From the lady receptionist , the lady who made omelettes and always smiled so nicely, the restaurant manager who would make sure everything is fine, to all the team who made sure tables were clean and food replenished, I am so impressed at the speed that used plates are taken away even during busy times. At the L’apero, special mention to Prasant for such a personalized service that will surely make Sofitel proud. Also the tall lady whose smile exudes much warmth and fill the room with so much positivity. Our room 2810, the room cleaners are one of a kind. He or they deserve promotion. Our room was always completely made up. We collected many photos from the 5 day stay, and to our delight, they were arranged very nicely all round the room, making us feel even more like we’re at home, indeed, our home away from home. To the Sofitel management, your team is so impressive and worth emulating. I hope that every other hotel can learn something from the way service is done here. Top honors and standing ovation. Thank you so very much , we will surely return. We loved touring Dubai , but we loved going back to our room 2810, our Home away from Home ❤️

Best hotel room I’ve stayed in . Amazing bathroom , spotlessly clean . Large room with king size bed . Attention to detail on furnishings etc . Absolutely nothing negative to say . We were on 24th floor . Great coastline views and across Dubai . The room cleaner couldn’t be better , did an amazing job every day . Very nice pool areas and again great service from staff in pool area . Lifeguards were very good and were always vigilant especially with children in the pool . Highly recommend the hotel . Reception staff also very helpful .
