"Superb new resort"
18th September 2013, kraken52, launceston
This amazing resort is not yet finished and is suffering some teething problems but when it is it will be even more fantastic. The only issue with the cleaning was that the girls who clean the rooms need a lesson in standards for a 5 star establishment. Having said that the pool is to die for, the food was excellent, service staff great and the layout of the room is terrific.. It is well worth asking for an ocean front room as the huge balcony (with day bed) looks straight onto the ocean and cliffs. Room 331 has the best balcony/ view.

"The Best Hotel in Phuket with a tiny disadvantage."
24th August 2013, MeticulousTourist, Seoul, South Korea
I just came back from my trip to Phuket, and I stayed in Pullman Arcadia during my trip.I would definitely recommend Pullman Arcadia to people who are willing to stay within the resort and who are looking for a calm and relaxing rest.Good Things:1. The newest resort in Phuket: very clean, very modern, good service.2. The best beach in Phuket (my personal opinion): I've been to Naithon beach, Patong beach, Laguna beach area, but Naithon beach was the best because 1) it is very secluded where as other beaches are pretty crowded. 2) The beach has a very solid sand great to walk on and wide/gradual beach area where you can walk far into the sea. Bad Things:1. The location: Naithon beach is very very far from the main areas of Phuket(Patong and Phuket Town). It's about 40 minutes away. Naithon has nearly no other places to go to other than the Pullman resort itself. The transportation is very expensive in Phuket. Honestly, I spent most of my budget on transportation moving from Naithon to other areas.2. Resort still under development: Some parts of the resorts are still under construction. It didn't bother me at all, but it may for some people. Still no gift/boutique shop opened, and a fingerfood bar not yet opened. Again, I definitely recommend Pullman resort for people who are looking for a very relaxing stay within the resort. But if I go back to Phuket, I would visit some other resort just because of the transportation fee. I hope my review helps! Thanks!View management response »
Management responseDear Meticulous TouristYou have brought a huge smile to my face with the Best Hotel in Phuket! This is what we are trying to create and I will ensure the team knows we are on the right track. The location of Naithon on the North West coats of Phuket is widely regarded as the one of the best beaches on the island as you highlight. We are about a 30 – 40 minute drive from the hustle and bustle of Patong and Phuket town which is just what most of guest are looking for. We are looking at how we can support our guests with a transfer to Patong and other areas of interest which is good value for money. We get many positive comments on the attitude and service levels of the team and it makes them delighted to know they have made a great impact on our guestsIt would be great to see you back or perhaps we could help you out with a sister Accor hotel in areas like Kamala beach, Patong, Kata or Nai Harn. Please see accorhotels.com or you can contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org if you want help with a suggested itinerary.Check In. Chill Out.Brett WilsonGeneral Manager

A very good hotel, resort of choice! In addition to luxury facilities. There are staff every hour and moment smile! Be able to bear or endure the private beach and clean, let me unforgettable! The only shortcoming room hotel far from the Patong Beach! Take a taxi if 800-1000 Zhu is acceptable! Breakfast is also very delicious, a lot of choices! If you like quiet! The hotel's swimming pool is also very good! The endless pool is very good! If it is a sea view room, remember and say to the two floor of the house! This view is not in front of the villa occlusion! The hotel has free vehicle can send you to be able to bear or endure a beach!View management response »
Management responseDear ighb2005I am delighted you enjoyed your time with us! We try hard to create the atmosphere of being cocooned in a resort, away from everyday life! I have passed your feedback to the team about the smiles – they were so happy to hear they have made a great impact on your holiday. The main swimming pool is a big feature of the resort and I am glad you enjoyed it. The culinary team loves hearing that they are doing a great job with breakfast. Regarding the distance from Patong – we are indeed about a 40 minute drive from Patong where there is a bustling crowded nightlife for the party goers – I can see you enjoyed the sanctuary of Naithon Beach, regarded locally as one of the best beaches on the island .It would be lovely to welcome you back to our beach house; your new found holiday home to enjoy a well-earned break.Check In. "Tastefully designed, great staff!"
18th July 2013, Vacatutu, Singapore, Singapore
In general, the resort is tastefully designed. Furniture and surrounding are very clean as we heard it is newly opened. <Room>We stayed at a grand deluxe room for 2 nights. We were pleasantly surprised that we get a little sea view at our balcony. Try to ask for high floors to stand a chance of getting a little sea view with grand deluxe rooms which is good enough for us. Buggies (or tuk tuks) are available to send us to and fro lobby and our room at a call away. <Food>We tried both the Italian restaurant (above The Elements) and The Elements. Both restaurants' decors were stunning. We particularly like the breakfast buffett at the Elements. They offer a good variety (and even chilli crabs on one day!). I suggest that you can have brunch because the spread can really cover both breakfast and lunch. We bought the breakfast tickets at the lobby counter when we checked in. It was slightly cheaper than if we were to have paid at the restaurant itself. We stayed within the resort and basked in the peace and serenity. We did not explore outside of the resort. Not sure if there is food there.<Swimming pool>Swimming pool is an infinity pool with gorgeous view. The breeze from the sea could make it a little chilly there.<Kids room>Kids room is important for us as we have 2 kids. The kids room is simple but well equipped with toys and game stations. And they do organize some kids activities like bead bracelet making, cone hat making, etc all FOC. <Staff>Staff were all nice and friendly, particularly those at the lobby counter and at the kid's club. The 2 nights that we were there, we experienced a black out for 2-3 hours. Just thought that the staff could keep us inform of the status of the blackout. We were left wondering and made our way to the lobby while waiting for the lights to come back on.View management response »
Management responseDear VacaltutuMany thanks for the review. It is great to hear that you enjoyed your stay! The resort has been designed to create a true break for the outside world whilst allowing you to relax enjoy the beauty of Phuket seascape. Thanks for highlighting the restaurants – we are very proud of our culinary team who are putting on such a great choice for breakfast to make sure you start the day well. The pool views are indeed a major feature of the resort overlooking the Andaman Sea and Naithon beach. During the summer months Phuket is a little windier than the winter period which does sometimes bring fresh air that can take the sting out of the sun.I look forward to your next visit to your new found holiday home in Phuket. Please let me know directly on your plans to visit again on email@example.com so we can welcome you back for a relaxing and fun filled family holiday!Check in Chill outBrett WilsonGeneral ManagerPS The permanent kids club is due to open in August which has been specifically designed for kids of all ages from swings to jungle gyms or DVD's to Playstation game TV
