"Early Morning Traveler"

Novotel Auckland airport is great for that early morning flight or late arrival. an extra hour or two sleep is wonderful. and if you arrive back late and two tide to drive home you can be in bed and sound asleep with in 15mins. staff very helpful and room nice an quite.

This hotel is great for many reasons. The most important one is direct access to the International Terminal. We had a room on the Premier floor. It was spacious with separate lounge and bedroom.The windows were large with block out curtains and you could not hear the airport. The bathroom was huge. The staff were wonderful,nothing was a problem. Highly recommend for over night stay

I always stay at the Novotel Auckland airport if Im flying out early morning or arriving late at night. Just to be able to walk out the front doors of the airport and be relaxing in your room 1minute later is priceless, especially when your traveling with exausted kids. Quiet often the early or late flights are cheaper so when your traveling with the family it also becomes a cost saver to stay at the Novotel, and the place is awsome so any excuse to stay there is good one.

We needed to stay nice and close to the airport and we could not get any closer than this being just across the road! Good quick check in, being late at night, and service excellent.

After a long business day and a tiring late night flight across the Tasman, having to walk only 50 metres or so to the Hotel is a delight. The level of service even at midnight was outstanding and a credit to the Hotel management. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable but most importantly given the proximity to the terminal very quiet. Having stayed at other airport Hotels the expectation is disturbed sleep due to booming aircraft engines but these were dulled to a barely detectable faint whisper in a room that faced the terminal.I would not hesitate in staying here again or suggesting that others take advantage of a wonderful Hotel with great convenience and surprisingly quiet rooms.

We stayed in a suite, as we have a 1 year old and wanted the extra space. The room was nice and the sleep was the quietest we have ever had in a hotel! This hotel is so close to the International terminal, the location is ideal for early flights. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant (The Square) and had an enjoyable meal, with the staff helping entertain our daughter while we ate. The parking is very close and is discounted by the hotel - cost us $23 for the night.

I stay here regularly since its opening prior to Rugby World Cup and it just keeps getting better. If I had to pick out one aspect of the property I would choose the concierges. This hotel unusually employs mainly young women in this job. They are exceedingly friendly, super efficient and do not hold their hands out for gratuities like the people originally employed in this position at opening. Needless to say they were rewarded.Only 2 very minor negatives. the TV remote battery required changing. This should be part of a scheduled maintenance programme. The French Bernaise sauce served with the steak continues to have Asian spices added. As it is not original they should give it a different name.For those who are unfamiliar with the airport, there is a compact but adequate shopping complex within walking distance from the hotel including supermarket, dept store and stationery supplies amongst others.A great hotel

Hotel was fine But I was returning from Perth so rather than driving home after long flight thought best to stay night at hotel as with time difference of 4 hours behind our time new I would find it hard to get to sleep so wanted to be able to sleep to at least 9am This was not to be flight arrived about midnight by the time I went to sleep was about 2.30 and I received not one but twice some one else's wake up calls at 4.50 am It would of been mu

"Accor Hotel at Auckland Airport"

This hotel is very convenient for access from the airport - less than 50 metres from the front door. Rooms are well appointed but instructions for adjusting the temperature in individual rooms is very difficult to find - and we did not find this during either of our two stays. Staff very professional. Do not feel that it is value for money. $183.50 for 1 night. Continental breakfast was $27.50 per person. Unfortunately I could not sleep very well when we stayed as was out of my time zone. The bed was very comfortable.

What a beautiful Hotel, and quiet as. when you are in your room you would never know you are at an airport it is so quiet. The rooms was outstanding, the bed was the most comfortable we have ever experienced and we spend about 30% of our time in Hotels/motels etc. The convenience of arriving at 1am and a comfortable bed with nice surroundings being 2 mins away is priceless. Would highly recommend. Alot of though has gone into the construction of this Hotel..........well done.I rated service down, but would give the reception 5 out of 5 - it was the experience at breakfast that let the side down. The kitchen was understaffed, one cook and he was not able to keep up with special orders and the standard orders. The tables were not being cleared as you finished a course and dishes were stacked up while people were still eating. I believe this is about training as 2 ladies were walking around with nothing to do and not seeing this problem. A learning curve for new staff in a new Hotel.The Hotel is expensive compared with other options in the area BUT it is an experience to have.

The location of this Hotel is superb, i arrived into NZ at midnight, a 2min walk from the terminal and all my needs were met, the rom are very clean, large, spacious, modern.The staff were both helpful and understanding, the last thing you need after a 22hr day is booking problems, i highly recomend this hotel to anybody looking to overnight in Auckland before flying out the next day, there are various room rates and sizes to suit all travellers, great restaurant, warm and friendly

Excellent location and good value. Room was ok but thought the bathroom lacked privacy. Also no robe hooks in bathroom which seems to be an oversight in a lot of hotels. Service was friendly and meals were of a good standard.

Very happy with everything at this hotel , I did not arrive untill around 7 pm and had to check out at 430 am to catch a flight . How I wish every hotel I stay in was as comfy as this one . Everything is spot on

I loved my stay at the novotel. I'm a hard working business man who needed a well earnt break! My room was super quiet, the food was amazing, I loved working out in the very flash gym, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying again very soon. Thanks Novotel :)

"novotel auckland airport"

Nice and conveinient for international transit.Very expensive for a 10pm to 6am stay.8 hours cost an incredible 227.00 dollars.1/3 of a day so will be reluctant to do it again.Twice i have stayed here and on both occasions after long flights i was met with delays at check in so frustration builds.You should at least be acknowledged at checkin if not atteneded to straight away.

"Great option for the airport"

My husband and I stayed here for one night as we had an early morning flight out of Auckland. This is the best Novotel we have ever stayed at. The bedrooms are modern, clean and comfortable and the bathroom was great with a large rain shower. As we are Advantage Plus members, we used our discount at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was of a good standard. Breakfast was also good. I would definately stay here as my first choice if requiring a hotel at Auckland Airport again. For somewhere in the city I highly recommend the Sofitel at the Viaduct.
