The stay was comfortable, staff were courteous and the breakfast buffet was good. The room was pretty comfortable and I certainly got a good night's sleep. The front office staff were helpful in giving directions and also with booking cabs.

I find the hotel Internet booking and the hotel staff did not communicate well to each other. A lot of confusion happened during the check in. The price registered in Internet is different than what I actually paid after the check out. Yet, the hotel staff seemed confused too, about what actually happen. This situation really did not show the professionalism of Accor hotel as a worldwide established chain hotel. I felt really disappointed. Hopefully, this would not happen again in the future.View management response »

Free Wi-Fi. Free breakfast. Free shuttle to the city & Resort World. Recommended for tourists on a budget* Value for money - no pool. Approx. 5 mins to the city by the mini van thou' the driver was unfriendly. Why spending more on just accommodation & either you get a unlimited free Wi-Fi (OR) breakfast especially along Orchard road when; this hotel promises you a great deal.! Very clean & prompt service. The service in Ibis Novena Singpur Hotel is very good ! Staff always helpfull and working fast ... Only the rooms are a little bit to small and walking distance to next MRT Station is 7-8 minutes. "overbooked & no compensation"

They overbooked room and arranged other Hotel at 1:30 AM w/o advance notice.Didn't sleep well.. only 4hrs sleep due to moving to other hotel and back to hotel next early morning to meet collegues... furthermore no compensation was provided.View management response »

"Either Front Desk or Housekeeping not doing a good JOB."

We have a bad experience. We did request late check out at 1.30pm on the last days staying in the hotel and we go for lunch.After back from lunch at 1.30pm, i back to our room, there is a housekeeper there in the mid of cleaning the room. We so shock, we not yet check out and hang the message in the hotel door that DO NOT DISTURB but they still coming in and do housekeeping. I have lot staff not yet pack yet including important document. We are not expecting any person come into our room so we left important thing there. The housekeeper just put all the cloths in our luggage and prepare to put into LOST and FOUND department. Does it look very obvious that the guess not yet check out??? SO UNREASONABLE and STUPID??? All the documents, our slipper, foods and drinks are throw inside their housekeeping car rubbish bin, because he think guess check out leave there unwanted already And we need to find back our thing with dirts in rubbish bin. The reason why he do housekeeping is he see the room status is checkout. Then he said don't blame him, just front desk not update the room status to late check out, not his problem and he ignore us. Does he know how to clarify with front desk or manager if saw the room obviously show guess not check out??We look for the duty manager then they just apology because of front desk forget update. They just trade it as small issue because we do not have anything missing. WTF. Make us so inconvenient and we not sure anything still important has been throw or not and bad experience need to find our things in rubbish bin that fill with dirt.View management response »

"Conned by the hotel operators"

Hotel had no room when we arrived even after we booked months ahead. I noticed that the going rate for the day was around S$250+ but our rate when booked was around S$150... I wonder if that is why they rather put us up somewhere else... What rubbish!View management response »

"Not up to expectation!"

I usually chose to stay in "IBIS" style hotels wherever I travel as I find them maintaining standard in term of cleanliness, reliable services, and very good location for getting around town, affordable room prices. But Ibis Novena Singapore was a let down. First the location is not centrally located as claimed, it's quite a walk to the nearest subway station. Secondly the breakfast was quite poor, few choices and taste poor. Thirdly the services were not at all helpful. The reception staff gave answer when asked but not at all showing help to facilitate guests stay. For example, when I had to change the room to a different type of room on the next day of stay. The information I received was "you have to take your bags to check out first and then check-in to another room!!! Funny but no so funny.View management response »

Overall worth for the money, location is central to most tourist attraction and accessible to all transportation. Staff are friendly and willing to assist you to make your stay enjoyable. Only negative is the room is smaller in size and suitable for couples only. Recommend the hotel for others.View management response »

"Not Near MRT Station"

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the MRT station, not recommended if you have heavy bags to carry. The hotel offers one-way shuttle from the hotel to the MRT station only. They should pick up passengers on their way back to the hotel instead of driving an empty van back each time.View management response »
