ibis Bogota Museo: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great deal in Bogota"

8th March 2012, Munich, Germany

Very good choice for a stay in Bogota; rooms are comfortable, with nice views from the top floors;Only downside is, that if you need to use hotel facilities to access internet, you are required to purchase access card. Everywhere else this service is free of charge;

ibis Bogota Museo: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great Location"

3rd February 2012, Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

Ibis Bogota Museo was well located for us. Easy access to La Candaleria, where many of the main tourist sites are found. Being in the Centro Internacional, it is also convenient to the National Museum, the bull ring, and the neighborhood of La Macarena. The hotel was clean, service was excellent, and the price was competitive. As you'll find throughout Bogota, it can be a challenge if you don't speak Spanish, or your Spanish is limited, as the staff at the front desk and the restaurant speak practically no English. Breakfast is a bit expensive, but there is a good pastry shop, Santa Elena, across the street that is good and inexpensive, and that is where I went each morning. While we usually walked to all the main tourist sites, there are always taxis at the hotel that were inexpensive to use. Overall, my experience was very good and I would stay there again.
