"Clean, reasonable price"
14th September 2013, Mehdi2014, Sydney, Australia
The only problem was that you had the WIFI access only for 24 hours. But it was really clean and cheap for Geneva. It's a little bit far away from the city center. However the public transport in Geneva for hotels' resident is free and the access is to the airport and the city center is good.View management response »

If you are just looking for a place to sleep for two then it is perfect. A little bit far from main station but at least the tram is running direct in front of the hotel. We are only two persons but we got the room for three. I am not sure whether this is due that they only have such a room there. There are basically no amenity, but you can get it in the receptionist by paying some money. In general, it is suit with our requirement for hotel at least for short stay.
"Good value for the room rate"
27th October 2012
The rooms were clean and functional. this hotel is good for short stays as the rooms are relatively small. One problem we have faced was with locating the hotel. the hotel address in the web site is not updated one and we were trying to use it in our GPS but without any luck...

The hotel room was small but functional. It was clean and came with basic items like soap, towels and blanket. There was also a TV and plastic cups so you are pretty much covered. The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean. You also get free wifi in the room so that is great.Breakfast was a simple meal of bread, croissant, yoghurt, fresh fruit, one type of ham and cereals. You get to choose flavour of jam to spread on your bread, drinks - apple juice, orange juice, milk, tea, coffee or water. It costs CH11 which may seem little here but pretty expensive if you come from Malaysia - RM35++. At RM35, I can have a good meal at a good restaurant.Staff was friendly but the ones I met were mostly non-locals so not much help when I asked about getting around the city or recommendations on where to go. I love that the hotel provide free public transport cards so there is no need to buy the tickets for trams, buses or boats in Geneva. Conveniently, there is a tram stop nearby - just need to walk for about 1 - 2 minutes.View management response »

A nice thing is that you get free tickets on all public transportation for the length of your stay. Tram station is just near the hotel and city center is about 5 stations away. The hotel was ok. WiFi is of very poor quality, they should improve it because is works well only in the lobby.View management response »

"Very convenient and good value"
4th August 2012, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Given how expensive hotels are in Geneva, this is a great place to stay. It's very basic but a bit outside of the city but there are plenty of buses close by to take to the city or the airport. I've stayed there on 4 occasions and plan on making it my "go to" place on future visits.
"Efficient and convenient for our needs"

Small but very updated and clean rooms. My daughter said it looks like we're traveling in a spaceship :) Convenient to the tram line.

Very good price for hotel in Geneva. Room was clean and quiet, but hotel is located far from city center.
"Tiny but served the purpose."
18th May 2012, Charo09, San Diego CA
As with many travelers, we needed an overnight hotel in Geneva after spending a wonderful week in the south of France. Geneva always has tons of conventions so inexpensive nice hotels are always difficult, and then the dollar is so weak compared to the Swiss franc that hotels are always really expensive as well. Our room was over $200 for the night. The plus of this hotel is that it is located right on the transportation routes, so with the free transportation card they give you, its easy to get downtown on the tram, and even to the airport on the bus. The hotel is new, so everything was clean and functional but the room was TINY, reminding us almost of a trailer. It is fine for sleeping, but that is all the time you would want to spend there, as there is no room. The other worry is that there is no climate control in the room and the front desk told is that it was an "ecological" hotel and that all the rooms were conditioned with outside air. Not sure what they do for heat or air conditioning at the hotel level, but individually there was no option. Be sure to bring your own shampoo too. We have tried about 6 different hotels around the Geneva airport on both the French and Swiss sides, and this one had definitely a more convenient location than the others. But they all were pretty basic and pretty small. I think we may try flying straight to southern France and spending a night in London or Paris where the hotel values are much better.
"Basic budget hotel"

Basic hotel. Far from the city center. If you are on a tight budget, this hotel can be one of your options.
"Nothing to complain about"
22nd March 2012, Liverpool
The hotel perfectly suited our needs, we, as a couple were transiting from the French Alpes to Liverpool and needed to stay for one night near Geneva airport at a resonable price. The bedroom was functional and spotless. The staff ever so friendly and helpful, even going the extra mile to make it more welcoming for us. The location was perfect as we were half way from town and the airport. Nice little surprise when we were both given a free public transport pass valid fron check in to check out.
"cheap and practical"
22nd March 2012, London, United Kingdom
All you would expect from an ETAP hotel, clean and compact.Remember to bring your own shampoo, but was clean and comfortable.Free wi fi access was a bonus

"What I expected"
19th March 2012, nicsbarr, Harrogate, United Kingdom
The hotel matched precisely what I expected - a reasonable budget hotel in an expensive city. The service was good in as much as it was required and all staff were pleasant.
"Good value if you travel 2-3 friends"
6th March 2012, CescCM, London, United Kingdom
Apart of being 10 minutes away from the centre, this hotel is just alright for what you pay. So if is an emergency like I did is ok but is a good value if you travel with 2 or 3 friends as all the rooms have 1 double bed and one single bed so it comes up to £17/ night/person
"Nice for short stays"
22nd February 2012, Madrid, Spain
Relatively well located, 20 minutes from downtown by tram, and 30 minutes from the airport by bus. Rooms with just enough, very practical. The hotel staff is friendly and works with any need. Public transportation card included.
