"An upscaled Novotel"
6th May 2012, iPad7515, Geneva, Switzerland
What a let down! I usually stay at the Pullman that once had the Sofitel status and was downgraded to Pullman. But the Pullman EifFel Tower is certainly not of the same standard. The lobby is standard/sad looking/old Novotel style, with no colours, nothing lively, no atmosphere. The halls that leed to the rooms are in such a state of depravation, that you wonder whether this possibly is the Pullman hotel you booked at EUR 185 / night. You get to your room and notice that the lock is so loose that you check it three times over to make sue the door is locked. The room is tiny, badly setup, without a separation door between the sleeping area and the entrance door. The bathroom looks ok, but the lighting is so poor that my wife could do her makeup the next morning without a torch. The windows are single glazed. The minibar remained locked even though my credit card had been swiped during check-in. The next morning, we headed to the breakfast room only to find a cantine style area with staff barely polite, so we went to the bar, where we found an attentive waiter who produced the breakfast we were looking for.
"Awesome"

My daughter and I had a lovely time at this hotel. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a Eiffel tower view room. From our balcony we were able to see the tower whenever we wanted or walk to it 2 mins away. Staff were wonderful also always greeting you whereever they saw you and help was always there if you needed it. Had a meal in our room and it arrived all on a table set up was so nice and would def be extra special if you were travelling with that special someone. Just an awesome stay and we were very impressed with the service we received from the staff at this hotel. \a wonderful memory THANK YOU!!!!!
"Good Room with a great view but a little 'tired'"
17th April 2012, MorgoUK, Manchester, United Kingdom
We stayed over the Easter Weekend - Saturday to Tuesday - having booked directly online. Apart from not being able to find our booking due to a typo error, the check-in went very smoothly with all relevant information being offered, including wi-fi access codes. The rooms (2) cost 550 Euros each for the three nights with breakfast a whopping 25 Euros each - way too much! A decent breakfast at the "Malakoff" in the Trocadero was 11 Euros, much better value. Our room (346) overlooked the 'Garden Area' but had the advantage of having a very good view of the Tower, our friends' room (343) less so. I'm sure 347 and the rooms above 4th floor would be even better. The room itself although clean and a decent size, was a little 'tired' careworn and obviously well-used (scuffed walls and worn carpeting etc.). Otherwise unremarkable and blandly corporate, heating, but no air-con. NB - CAUTION! Both rooms had fully opening windows - great for the view but deadly for those with small, curious children or anyone with suicidal tendencies, too tempting to lean out for a better view - BEWARE! The ensuite facilities were very clean and well maintained. Our friends fared less well. Their bath was cracked and as there was no shower mat requiring the user to hold onto the rail whist showering. Toilet paper was not replaced (we gave them our spare) neither was the milk for the coffee. They also experienced problems with the TV set (CRT - how quaint!). Good point though - BBC1&2 available as well as the usual News and Sports channels. The corridor outside the rooms was wher the Service Trolleys appear to be stored. We were in the 'Bargain Basement' section of the hotel I think. I believe there is a refurbishment programme underway and it appeared not to have reached our rooms yet - I hope! The foyer and concierge area is bright and well staffed with courteous employees, all of who spoke and understood English. Another plus was the opportunity to leave our luggage at the hotel as we were getting a late afternoon train. All-in-all, a fair hotel in a very good location. When the refurb is complete it will be a very good hotel. But, Oh, those breakfast prices! - Steve R

Great location - you pay for this but the Hotel needs modifying as it is very tired. The service is excellent and overall good.
"best view in Paris in aged Hotel"
12th April 2012, mercury-frederick, Frankfurt, Germany
our second staycation in Paris in the Pullman Tour Eiffel (formerly Hilton). Always amazing to have a clear view of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony. The interior - carpets, furniture, windows are a little too old to pass as luxurious. I hear it will be renovated soon. never the less: if you stay with your loved one in Paris - it´s got to be near the Eiffel tower and it´s got to be the pullman ave suffren.

"Great location"
1st April 2012, Retiredozy, Sydney
To stay so close to the Eiffel Tower is fantastic. From the room balcony the Tower was almost within reach. The staff are very professional and customer focussed, the hotel has a good restaurant and bar area. The rooms are starting to age and whilst in residence we experienced a few problems, some of which were fixed and some were not. Nevertheless, it is a good hotel and certainly in a good location, with 2 railway stations within a 3 minute walk, allowing easy and quick access to many of the attractions tourists will attend. A number of tour river boat operators are also located adjacent to the hotel on the Seine. Overall, would recommend the hotel for those looking for a centrally located quality establishment.
"Location Location Location"
15th March 2012, Brussels, Belgium
The only thing going for the hotel is the friendly staff and the location. The rooms look like something out of the 1940s, old carpets, old portable tv with analogue quality channels. The windows are badly fitting and do little to block noise.Sunday morning there was an athletics meet including very loud Zumba sessions right outside the hotel ...no chance to sleep in.Executive lounge was a nice bonus (came with the executive room) but still didn't get close to justifying the cost of the room.
"Go4it!"
2nd February 2012, London, United Kingdom
Had to change the room twice! had booked the room with balcony and view of Eiffel tower, first room's balcony door lock was broken, was offered the other room, view from balcony was awesome but heating was not working! :) Then changed to another room and it was without problems-Location is excellent though-200 meters from Eiffel tower, river and the metro station! Breakfast was excellent though-Staff was friendly and helpful-Go for it!!

"Great location, great service from front desk staff, but otherwise very disappointing"
12th January 2012, Saarbrucken, Germany
It's hard to fault the location, and the front desk staff were helpful throughout, but we asked for a connecting door to be opened (we had two rooms, as a family of five) and noone ever came, we were short on towels, the heater in one of the rooms was noisy enough that it had to be turned off at night, and at breakfast, plates were dirty and the kids found a squashed fly on their bread. The hotel waived the cost of breakfast, which was a nice gesture, but overall, we were severely disappointed given the price.
"Great views"
20th October 2011, HeleneHumby
This Hotel is in an ideal location, close to tourist attractions, shopping and cafe's. The Seine is a short walk away as is the Eiffel Tower. Our rooms was large by paris standards, had a balcony and a view of the Eiffel Tower. Breakfast was included in our tarrif and offered lots of variety. The concierge was very helpful and used his i-Pad to provide directions for returning our hire car. Room service provided 2 tea bags and on occassions we rang & asked for more, the first night the tea bags took an hour to be delivered, the 2nd night nobody came at all. Overall a good stay & we would stay there again.

"Great location- Breakfast in room - food cold"
11th September 2011, Manchester, United Kingdom
what an outstanding view and convenient to Eiffel Tower and River Seine. Rooms dated but clean. We ordered breakfast. Very expensive at 30 Eoros each and the cooked breakfast was stone cold., as was the toast and the coffee. I ordered tea and all i got were Teab bags! for 30 Euro's i was clearly expected to make my own. Staff friendly and helpful
"Rundown"
15th August 2011, Perth
Great location, great staff but the hotel itself is abit run down, it badly needs a renovation. I can see why Hilton sold this hotel off, After staying at the wonderful & modern Pullman in Berlin this hotel was a let down considering it was about double the price.
"Worn out"
6th August 2011, Luxembourg
At our second stay at Pullman, Paris, we where only reminded whe we at our first visit had decided not to return. The rooms are worn out and of very low standard. The minibar was full of previous guests old food leftover. Hair in the bathtub. Even though we requested to have the minibar cleaned it did not happen. Breakfast ok.
