The booking process was a failure and all I heard was blame and how much I needed to pay, rather than sorry we wasted a lot of your time here's how we'll rectify it and remunerate your time.

Nice stay close to the conference center

We enjoyed a comfy room with good space and a nice bathroom. Our room was on 4th floor to the street and we did experience some noise from the trams, but nothing that made it difficult to sleep. The breakfast buffet was delicious and we liked that we were able to cook our own eggs though it took a couple of tests to hit the right timing (5 min.). Overall a good stay.

It's also great to know that our breakfast buffet, with the option to cook your own eggs, was to your liking. Regarding the noise from the trams, we're sorry to hear that it was noticeable; we take solace in the fact that it didn't significantly disturb your sleep. While earplugs are not currently provided, our double-glazed, soundproof windows typically ensure a quiet environment. We appreciate your suggestion about the breakfast selection and will consider it as we continually strive to improve our offerings. Fantastic location, very close to two tram stations. Staff at the reception desk are fantastic - friendly and helpful. Staff at the breakfast hall are great too- very accommodating. Room size is perfect. Unfortunately , housekeeping staff are terrible. One lady clearly does not know how to respect a do-not-disturb sign on the door. I had this sign outside my door and, needless to say, my door was closed. In spite of that, she still went in using her own key . When she went in, she saw me inside my own room…and again in spite of that she stayed inside my room as if there is nothing wrong about invading privacy! Since she cannot understand English, I just used gestures to politely ask her to leave because, obviously, she is not supposed to invade my privacy. But instead of leaving, she carried on doing what she wanted which is to change the fire safety reminder pasted on the door, a task that is definitely not urgent and is not a justification for entering without permission. And the worse part? she doesn’t even feel guilty about entering the room without permission! On many other occasions , staff knock repeatedly- again in spite of the do not disturb sign - simply because they want to do the housekeeping at the time that they want (not the time we, the guests, are available ). Knocking once or twice is fine, but knocking repeatedly many times during the day is a clear disregard of the do not disturb sign. Issue with housekeeping doesn’t end there: One morning , while I was still sleeping , housekeeping knocked - once again in spite of do not disturb sign. I politely asked her to come back in the afternoon and to stop knocking repeatedly . And her response to that polite approach? Well she rolled her eyes and walked away rudely! If not for the housekeeping staff, I would have rated the hotel as excellent.

Warm, attentive and kind service by the front office staff (Olivier, Eva, Raquel and Keir: thank you). The room was very clean, not a trace of dust. We loved the combination of a bath and separated shower. Qualitative amenities present. Breakfast had everything we needed. We received a voucher for a drink for my birthday.

no/low wifi reception

I complained 3-4 times about the bad wifi reception I was getting in room 310 but no action was taken whatsoever. I was told they will try to restart wifi or technician gonna look at it in the morning but nothing was done.
