We stayed 6 nights in this hotel. We received a friendly welcome and checkin was very easy. Our room and bathroom were well maintained and clean. Breakfast which was included in our rate for the first night was very good. We found the bed mattress (topper) a bit strange at first but adjusted within a couple of days. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk to the old town but quite an easy and pleasant walk. The tram and buses run from directly out side the hotel. There are 2 supermarkets at the station which is 5 minutes walk. Overall a lovely stay and we would certainly recommend it to others.
Dear Sir, Thank you very much for taking the time to post your thoughts on here. I’m glad you enjoyed your visit, and I hope we can welcome you back to Ibis Kraków Stare Miasto very soon. Kind regards, Małgorzata Klimek, General Manager
Close to station, but far away from everything else. A 20-25 min walk to town centre. Location makes it a corner of town for tourists. Staff at reception are friendly and warm. However, at the restaurant it's the opposite and they won't even let you keep a yoghurt in the fridge for 20 mins (despite saying ur stomach is messed up). They flatly refused. Rooms are standard ibis but lack a safe deposit box. U get a bottle of water which is nice!
Hotel was clean & well maintained. Staff are very friendly & willing to help. The majority of staff spoke English which was appreciated. The hotel was beside the main train & bus station. There was a large shopping mall just along the street which was handy to walk through when it was cold. You are 15mins from the old square area. There is so much to do in Krakow as well as the excursions to Auschwitz & Salt Mines.
Good location of the hotel (17 km from int. airport) and near the railwaystation. City Centre 10 min. walking, and Schindler's factory at 40 min. walk. Hotel is modern, relatively small rooms but very well maintained. Buffet breakfast with offering a wide variety of foods and fruit. Good value for money

Stayed here for four days. It's a typical Ibis hotel - the rooms and bathrooms are a little on the small side, as compared to a top-range hotel. But our room was spotlessly clean, was serviced every day, and our request for an additional towel was met instantly. The breakfast was fine. Again, there may not be as wide a choice as at some larger hotels, but everything was fresh and well-prepared. The various types of bread were scrumptious! Unlimited tea or coffee, fruit juices, cereals, ham, cheese, yoghurts, plus the "hot" option of sausage and scrambled egg. Very filling, absolutely no complaints. The staff were constantly in action, clearing plates, replenishing items, etc. Check-in was superb, because we arrived before midday due to the timing of our flight yet we were allocated our room immediately. The staff were always friendly and co-operative, issuing maps, arranging wake-up calls, etc. The location of the hotel was ideal for us - a pleasant ten-minute walk to the city centre, but there's a bus and tram stop just round the corner with any journey of less than 20 minutes costing only 2.80zl (way cheaper than our local buses in England!). Oh, and the Galeria Krakowa is just two hundred metres from the hotel for clothes, household goods, snacks, drinks etc. The rail station and bus station adjoin the shopping centre, so the hotel is really handily placed. I'd be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone who asks.
