"clean and quiet"

I chose the hotel for being close to my working place and it was fine. Though not in the centre it's on an easy distance with the underground. The rooms are small but clean and quiet. Staff at the reception - very friendly.

Hotel is located just 3 subway stops from the City Center.Rooms are clean, Internet is working goodbreakfast (standalone option 6EUR/person) is pretty basic - breads, cheese, butter, yogurt. No vegetables, no eggs, no sausages or hot meals.But the coffee machine is good.The shower is actually is inside the room - that is pretty unusual and interesting, but be ready for it :-) - this can be easily checked at pictures on hotel site.Good hotel for 1-3 nights for 1 person or a couple and relatively cheap

"Vienna Christmas Market Trip"

We spent 2 nights in the Ibis Budget hotel and were very satisfied. It is ideally situated close to metro and mainline railway stations so travelling to the markets was very easy. It is a clean, well run hotel. Excellent breakfast for a very reasonable price. Our only suggestion is to put a shelf or closet in the bedrooms, there was a lack of space to stow away clothes. Apart from that we were very happy and will be using the hotel again in the summer when we return to do more sight seeing.

"Good value for my money"

Clean, quiet, basic hotel. Good value for my money. Breakfast is 6 euro, room 56 euro. Basic room, no frills, but quiet and good bed. The room is clean, basic furniture, the shower is in the room, but the design is quite ok. Not very close to the city center (no walking distance).

"Nice Budget Hotel"

Hotel is situated next to the metro station and it is 3 stops only to the main square. The neighborhood is safe, hotel has a garage for EUR 14/day. You can also park the car on the street, but the free parking is from Friday 22:00 - Monday 7:00, otherwise during the week it is much more expensive than the garage. The room is very simply equipped - it is one bedroom including shower box, washbasin and the toilet, which is divided from the room by the partition. But the toilet door has spaces between the floor and the ceiling, which is strange. Ventilation worked good, so no smell from the toilet got to the room. Specialty is the design lightning in the room and in the shower head, which can change the colours according to the water temperature. The breakfast is simple buffet - lot of bakery, lot of beverages, one type cheese, one type of ham, yogurts, several types of corn flakes, several types of jam, honey, fruits. No hot food provided, but for the price EUR 6/person it is very good. Just the breakfast room is smaller than the hotel capacity, so in the season peak, it is better to get up earlier to get some seats, after 8:30 in the weekend (December) it is totally overcrowded. I can recommend the accommodation if you look for the cheap stay with the breakfast in the center and you need to park the car somewhere.

I've stayed at your hotel several times, a good value for money. Pleasant and helpful staff at reception, perfect for one-two night stay. Housekeeping, interfering, knocking once and then entering irritates a bit.

"Good service, clean rooms"

This is the second time I have stayed and yet again they made me feel very comfortable. The staff were great, I speak no German so they were happy to help order me taxis to get around and were polite throughout my stay.Room were very clean and bed was very comfortable.My only slight downsides were that the towels were very small and I had to use 2. I also feel the rooms are quite 'hospital' like. I know these are cheap rooms, but might be nice to make them slightly more homely.All in all a great stay though

Clean and modern hotel, friendly staff, good value, close to Vorgatenstrasse metro station, 3 stops to Vienna center, free WiFi connection in the rooms.Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel. Almost perfect!

"FEW COMPLAINTS ABOUT NEW IBIS BUDGET"

If Ibis Budget Wien Messe is an example of the new type of budgethotels Accor present, they proved their point. I have stayed in a number of Etap hotels and they mainly were budget: smallish, with hardly any room to move. Most are smelly. As pre-fab rooms are showers were difficult to enter and if you showered the toilet and the toiletfloor became wet.As if Accor had started with a clean sheet of paper all over again, in the Ibis budget they fixed the big problems and even some smallish ones. First of all: a real big shower, a separate toilet and even some clothhangers that you can take off the rack and hang somewhere else (handy if you have to clean some clothes).But also the room itself is bigger than usual, and instead of the always dirty carpeting on the floor there is a wooden floor. Much easier to clean. As a consequence, however, that leads to the only point of critism: the room itself is a bit noisy if you walk around and do things. But that is the only thing: give me more of those ex-Etaps!
