"Sweet and sour"

Good location, small but nice rooms. No information about the renovation that is taking place. A small reception desk and no service except for breakfast in the morning.
"First Paris Visit"
22nd February 2012, Stratford Upon Avon
The location of the hotel was ideal, being a short walk away from three metro stations. The big Paris attractions of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and the Champ Elysees retail area were also a short walk from the hotel. There are numerous cafe's, bistro's and restaurants all within a short walking distance. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome by a very helpful receptionist. The rooms in the hotel are on the small side but were clean, warm and comfortable. Although the hotel is in a back street ,be warned, if you have a room overlooking the road it got a little noisy around 6.00am when the road and pavement was being cleaned !! The breakfast quality and choice was reasonable. Only one complaint and that is the quality of the soundproofing between the rooms could be better. Overall I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.
"Convenient location"
19th February 2012, Houston, Texas, USA
Like most European hotels, the room was small – so small the closet door wouldn't fully open because it hit the bed – but it was clean and functional, and was ideally located for my needs. I would stay in this hotel the next time I had business in the area.
"One night review"

Reception friendly and helpful. Lacked a bar. Room smaller than impression on website but served my purpose well. TV heard from next room - not good when operated to 02.20! Breakfast satisfactory and reasonable choice of menu.
"Mercure Paris Champs Elysees"
7th October 2011, Tallinn
We met friendly service in Reception. Check-in was made immediately. There were offered two rooms to choose. One we liked more had a strange smell. We took another smaller one. Location is the second best of Mercuries for arriving by airport shuttle. Wagram is a bit nearer. Anyway Mercure has the best quality/price conditions in Paris. Last time we visited Mercure Hausmann and we did not disappoint. Now we could more walk because Arc de Triomph and Champs Elysees were nearer. Even to our fair place Palais de Congresses we made a walking tour. There were a lot of interesting shops on the way. Other places we visited by metro. From the hotel station Kleber was the nearest. Breakfest was OK: ham and eggs included; Organic desk was offered. We tasted a juice and it was very good. Nearby a shop offered good champain 12€ a bottle. We enjoy it still now at home. Next time in Paris again with Mercure.

"Great hotel"
13th September 2011, BrazilianTraveler30, BH, Brazil
Great location (about 4 blocks from Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysee), big and cozy rooms and friendly staff makes this hotel an excelent alternativa of stay in Paris. Not only would I recommend it to a friend but also to return in future.
"Similar to Backbacker 1 star accommodation"
12th September 2011, Sydney, Australia
This hotel is so run down it would be better to stay in a backpackers hostel. When I checked in and saw the rooms I immediately wanted to leave however I had pre - paid the room, so I asked to upgrade and pay for another Accor hotel but was declined. The rooms in this hotel are soo small that you cannot move or place your suitcase anywhere without falling over them. They need to spend a lot of money maintaining the hotel as it is run down. Even by European standards this hotel deserves a one star. I will never stay here again and do not recommend it unless you are desperate.
"First visit with grandchildren to Paris"
4th August 2011, Kilmarnock, Scotland
We have stayed in Paris on many occasions in the past for both business and pleasure. This was our first trip with our grandchildren and the hotel was “real cool” according to one and “wow” according to another. Our whole trip to Paris was a great success and this hotel was the icing on the cake. We will return just to enjoy it on our own.
"Great Postion"
29th June 2011
The rooms are small, but I think that is the case with most hotels in Paris as most of the buildings are old. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The street outside was a bit noisy but we could have closed the window. The positons of excellent, halfway between the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triumph, brilliant!Staff were friendly and breakfast was simple but lovely.
"Very, very small room..."
19th February 2011, JaconPhil, Bethesda
This hotel is nicely located in the heart of Paris and has a friendly staff. All is great except the rooms that are (at least the one I had) very small: having to put my suitcase at the end of my bed, I could not go around the bed walking but had to step on the bed... The shower is a tiny corner shower giving you no chance not to flood the also tiny bathroom... This being said, it is ok for a short stay, and I believe it is possible to ask for a larger room (if available!).
"AN ECONOMIC ROOM DOWNTOWN PARIS"
15th February 2011, Penang
It was my first time in the Trocadero area of Paris and has no experience with hotels in this area. Now that I know, there is a "Gallery" product hotel from Accor along Avenue Kleber which would have been a better choice.Mercure Champs Elysee is well located except that if one had a heavy bag, it is on a hill and it is not quite possible to go to the Roissybus stand which goes to or from the airport without a taxi and the taxis will try to tell you that there is no such a bus stand, particularly if one does not speak French. The distance is about 1.2 Km so the taxi fare is minimal and annoys taxi drivers. The rooms are a wee bit tight, thus the bathroom and maintenance can be improved. It is, surprisingly quite clean and the bed pretty comfortable. The design of the old building makes movement of heavy luggage a chore as the elevators opens in between room floors.Eating is no issue as there are many outlets within 5-15minutes walk away and the Eiffel Tower, the Arc D'Triomphe and Champs Elysee are all within a short distance.
"Small Room"
