« COMPLAINT FOR BAD SERVICE »

Reservation name : Mr. Edgardo Rivas Reservation number : CTKBVQXF On November 4th, we arrived to the hotel around 11:30 with our reservation number and we were informed in the front desk that the check in would be after 15:30 hrs with the guarantee that the reservation would be available up to 18:00 hrs. Therefore we left the hotel to our business meeting, by 17:25 hrs I called the hotel to guarantee our reservation with my credit card due that we were delay in the meeting. When the people at the front desk answered my call they told me that we lost our reservation by order of the hotel general manager Mr. Abel Vargas because the hotel was overcrowded and If I had any doubts she can be able to contact me with Mr. Vargas. I was surprised when Mr. Vargas told me that one of the rooms had a water leak and they had to repair taking the furniture, the wood floor and the tapestry wall out of the room. In the way Mr. Vargas gave me this explanation I immediately suspected he was lying and ask him to show me the room, he told me that it wasn't possible and and we confirmed he was lying. WE FEEL REALLY DISAPPOINTED BY THE WAY WE WERE TREATED FROM THE HOTEL AND THAT WE HAD TO LEAVE THE MEETING TO START TRAVELING FROM HOTEL TO HOTEL ASKING FOR A ROOM WHEN WE HAD A RESERVATION.

« Going down hill »

I've been staying at this hotel for 4 nights or more the last few years and in my opinion the hotel is going down hill. The towels look to be the same as 4 years ago and 2 out of the 4 days that I stayed at the hotel there was no towels in the room and I had to request them. Also the air conditioning unit leaked (I have encountered this problem in previous stays as well) It's a shame as it was a good place to stay, good location, good value but it appears that mgmt is letting it go down hill. My only other complaint is that the hotel charges you approx $100 dollars to store personal valuables in their safety deposit boxes.
