I arrived with my family quite late on a Thursday evening. Unfortunately the lovely man on check in discovered I had accidentally booked for the following evening. I was quite worried as had my two young children with me and we were all tired but he sorted us a room really efficiently and we had a peaceful rest ready for our onward journey.

I found Ibis Styles Compiegne very average. I found my room more basic than i have found in other Ibis Styles, i found in others I've stayed i get a bottle of water or maybe some form of refreshment, i found that not always were my towels changed when i placed them on the floor. I found that the hotel didn't really have a bar and i found the staff showed little interest in serving a drink when i stood at the supposed bar wanting one. I found at breakfast that the staff were slow to replenish the buffet and very slow to clear tables.

I’m supposed to have a”welcome cocktail” as Silver member, but never proposed…plus no opportunity to have a coffee during the day, except during breakfast…
