"Ibis Lima"

Great location, clean rooms. We had a room at the back side of the hotel that was very quiet. They have 24 hour security and the elevators won't move without you using your room card. What a great idea for security The staff was very helpful, the free wifi worked well or if you didn't bring your laptop, they have computers available in the lobby. Breakfast was included with our rate, the breakfast was ok, but you can only do so much with breakfast Only three blocks from a shopping center on the ocean, where you can purchase organized tours or 8 blocks the other direction is Kennedy park that also has organized tours available. Google the address and you can see the layout of the area. We look for clean, safe, moderately priced places to stay and this Ibis worked well for us. We would stay at this hotel again.

located in the best area of Miraflores, good service from the hotel staff, simple and complete breakfast, comfortable and clean, excellent value for money, close to the best restaurants in Lima, high security zone.

small but functional room, functional bathroom with good shower, good wifi (4th floor), low (even some unfriendly) service at reception desk, mediocre breakfast (buffet starts at 06.30am, till that time very very simple food available in lobby (only 2 tables...), lobby too small in any case for size of hotel
"Great value for the money, and great location"

Verging on the minimalist but this is expected for this hotel. No problems other than having been woken up by my upstairs neighbours alarm clock twice at 5:30. Also avoid rooms on the front (Avenida Larco) as they are more noisy. The ones on the back or on the side (numbered after the floor + 51 to 59) are in the back and quite quiet.

This hotel is within walking distance of the Larcomar shopping center, where you can find all sorts of restaurants and stores. It is a great location. Because there is a cluster of excellent hotels in this area, there are abundant taxis and buses, and stores oriernted to tourist shopping. The hotel is clean and it feels better than the typical Ibis, more like a Novotel. The service is excellent, and the breakfast buffer is great, with excellent service to help with all your needs. An extra touch is that there is a taxi dispatcher inside the hotel that can get you a "turista" taxi, like a private limo, in just a few seconds. The hotel also has private security in the lobby, for extra protection.My room did not have much of a view, just an interior area looking at other buildings, but the nearest building was at the other side of the block, like 50 yards away, so there was plenty of light and a feeling of open space. The WiFi signal was good, the Internet speed sufficient for Skype with video, and internet access was free.This will certainly be my first choice in my next visit to Lima.

The location is central for access to beach, waterfront, shopping, and restaurants. The room we had was on the small side, but it was away from noise. The hotel is excellent value.

This is a great hotel: great location and good value. Easy acess to important streets, you can go almost everywhere with buses and cars.Free wi-fi (!!!) but paid breakfeast (could have more options).The only problem is that the hall noise sometimes can wake you up.Would stay there again!
"Perfect for Me, As Always"

This was my fourth time staying at Ibis. It is perfect for a solo traveler, looking to take advantange of the location of the hotel to night spots and activities around Miraflores and Barranco. For the value, the quality doesn't get much better. Definitely staying there whenever I travel to Lima.

The staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and well-trained. Hotel was clean as was the room. The food was excellent and well-presented. Peru was my 50th country, so for camparison from five continents, Peru is now one of my top five and Lima is one of my top five. Lima is THE gastronomic destination of the Americas, and many of the national dishes are served at the hotel as well as the national drink - Pisco Sour. The hotel is located about three blocks from Larcomar Mall and the Pacific Ocean in the safe Miraflores district. Convenient shopping is along the street and the mall as well as restaurants and more. There are several great parks close along Larco.The room itself was clean as was the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and there was an extra pillow and extra blankets were merely a phone call away. The room had a safe though not large enough for a laptop. Wireless Internet was speedy.
