"Stay at Mercure Resort Hunter Valley Gardens"
5th March 2013, Dale475, Wollongong, Australia
A very pleasant stay in a lovely part of the country after rainfall that made the countryside green and luscious. The resort is found in a convenient and picturesque part of the Hunter Valley, an area which captures your taste buds if you like wines, cheeses and olives.
"One of the worst"
28th February 2013, Briquenay, London, UK
I thought this would be up to usual Mercure standards, but sadly no. The cleaning in the room was dreadful. The bathroom floor was slimy, there were insects in the room and the common parts were not kept clean. The restaurant was mucky, chairs stained, cheap fittings and a lacklustre breakfast. Some staff were helpful, but not all. The location is good, which was about all going for it. It's not cheap either. Never again.

"Kodak in the Hunter Valley"
12th January 2013, KodakBrandyHill, Brandy Hill
This Hotel is in an excellent location, easy walking/cycling distance to the Village and Hunter Valley Gardens as well as several Vineyard Cellar doors. Short drive to Harrigan's Pub. Staff most welcoming, rooms extremely generous in size, quality furnishings, clean, neat, quiet, with free parking outside your room. Breakfast enjoyable, large lounge areas for relaxing . Outdoor pool and area, particularly good for young families. Would stay here again - good value. Kodak
"mercure hunter valley"

We had an adjoining room to our suite. (shared locked door to next room). Unfortunately this meant we could hear every word in the next room as if they were in the same room as us. Consequently we were woken at 2am for several hours while the people next door laughed and enjoyed their evening (as they should be able to do). We complained to front desk who said they were aware of problem........My advice, when booking unless you're travelling with some friends or family make sure room is a separate suite. Otherwise stay was excellent, but dining was very understaffed.

Entrance & building very impressive. Dining room impressive also but acoustics noisy.room upgrade also impressive but no spa & courtyard not private. Try to avoid childrens' hols.Rambling gardens & walk to village were quite relaxing. Enjoy. WJ.
"Christmas Lights in the Hunter"
22nd December 2012, NisieA, Chittaway Bay NSW
My wife and I had one very enjoyable night at the Mecure Resort Hunter Valley Gardens visiting the Christmas Lights and a few vinmeyards. We have stayed at this resort on previous occasions and find it convenient to the Hunter Valley Gardens and vineyards, good sized and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. We recommend this hotel and will stay here on our next visit to the Hunter Valley.Kind regards & Merry Christmas to all,Barry & Denise
