Le Bristol Leukerbad: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Mecure LeukerGOOD!"

17th July 2013, OldSpecky, London, United Kingdom

If you are going to stay in Leukerbad (and there are some reasons you may chose to, and maybe some you wouldn't) the The Mercure is an excellent choice for its rooms and its facilities. And if, like me, you book at a promotional rate the value is incredible. This is a well-run 4 star luxury hotel - the rooms are generous and well provided. it's a Mercure, so everything is standardised, in this case to a very high standard. Free bathrobe and slippers for instance. The free leisure centre is delightful too. And free wifi is always welcome. I can't comment on the 'extras' such as breakfast etc as being a £ tourist I as just too plain mean to pay the asked for prices. But then again, any English tourist on a budget will find Switzerland challenging! As for the hotel, it was a pleasure to stay there - no complaints, only praises.

Le Bristol Leukerbad: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Dolobran - Hotel Bristol"

7th July 2012, Sheffield, United Kingdom

A very friendly welcome, we were offered orange juice as soon as we arrived at Reception (it was a hot day). The bedroom was large and had everything we needed. The bedroom doors were made from steel and were exceptionally secure. The only problem was the large number of flies which lived between the net curtains and the windows which we had to kill. Dinner was excellent and the service could not be faulted. There was no air conditioning which would have been welcomed. The hotel is situated high up in the valley with tremendous views down the valley. Parking is external or inside a closed car park. For those travelling by train there is a minibus connection to the railway station. We didn't have an adaptor for the Swiss electrical sockets, when we explained this to Reception they loaned us a suitable adaptor, free, which we returned the next morning. There are excellent facilities, swimming pool, thermal spa etc which we didn't have time to use but we would definitely use this hotel again if we were in the area.

Le Bristol Leukerbad: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Review Mercure Bristol Leukerbad"

Room 605: old fashionedStroller/weelchair accessibility very poor, especially de main entrance and the multiple elevators switches one has to make when transferring from the main building to the second building. Elevators are very small and have no protective case between person and door!Showers were frequently defect. Service at the pool by the restaurant/bar staff could be more frequent.Allowance of dogs is very annoying, especially when not lined.Price/valua is not balanced: expensive. The building desperately needs new painting on the outside. There is a large discrepancy between the newly build welness area and the hotel facade. Pitie. Very friendly personal. Fantastic surrounding.

Le Bristol Leukerbad: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Recomendable Hotel"

28th July 2011, Brussels

Leukerbad is nice place if you want to relax. This hotel has satisfactionaly spa, no need to go another spa in Leukerbad. Staff service was quite good. We accomodated family room with four, it was big room enough. I strongly recommend you if you go to mountains in SWISS and want to relax during that trip.

Le Bristol Leukerbad: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Leukerbad Mercure"

30th May 2011, deanlavey, Alton, United Kingdom

Quiet hotel with outdoor thermal pool. Very relaxing and great moutain view. Also great value for a Swiss hotel. The hotel has adequate parking and is easy to find. It is also around 10 minutes from the centre of town. I didn't eat at the restaurant so I can't rate that. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. If you're going on towards the Furka Pass, then this is a great stop off point.

Le Bristol Leukerbad: 5.0 out of 5 stars "a crack hotel"

15th November 2010, new york

I'm thinking about to stay in this hotel again. wonderful spa, service and view... A tiny thing to be improve is that the price of the restaurent is a bit higher than others and one menue per night seems a bit simple for a 4 stars hotel.

1. Lowest prices found over the following seven days.
These prices may be based on different room types. Depending on the country, these prices may not include taxes, may include VAT only or may include all taxes (VAT and city tax). When prices do not include all taxes, the relevant taxes (VAT and/or city tax) will be stated in the following stages of the reservation process.
