We stayed for four nights to visit Disney. We arrived early afternoon and were checked straight in with no issues. We were given a slightly larger apartment than we had booked, which had a bedroom then living room with kitchenette and two sofa beds. We had a microwave, hob, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, crockery etc so you could easily make food in the room if you wanted. I would recommend taking an extension lead if you use hair appliances etc as mirrors weren’t necessarily near sockets. The room and corridor areas were dates and a bit tired but there was work going on while we there and signs up saying they were carrying out improvement works. The room was clean and we had plenty of clean towels and bedding (the towels and bedding looked new). We felt for the price it was good value for money as we were really only using it as a base. We used the pool on the first night and the changing rooms and pool area were clean and well maintained. There are lockers in the changing rooms that you enter a code to lock and you can bring your towels down from the room. The location is great for Disney. You could walk from the hotel to the parks in around 20 minutes or the shuttle bus takes about 5 minutes. There are times during the day that the shuttles don’t run so check the times at reception, they do run later than park closing though so you can use them to get back. When you leave the hotel, cross the road, turn left, cross the road and you’ll see the bus stop that the shuttle stops at. Coming back the shuttle leaves the little bus station near 5 Guys in the village (stand F) which is seperate to the on site bus at station. Val d’Europe is just next door to the hotel, turn left and cross the road and you’ll see the entrance to the food court area. There are a couple of super markets at the other end of the shopping centre. There’s also a Primark that has a Disney section if you want somewhere to pick up clothing etc. There is also a small shop area in the hotel that sells packs of mini essentials like shower gel etc and drinks, snacks and a few ready meals. The staff we encountered were all very polite and helpful. We were worried before we arrived as we had read some negative reviews but we would stay again as it was a good location for the parks, clean and good value for the price.

Aparthotel great for needs. Reception staff disinterested, scant information available for free shuttle bus (suggest a map to help people find the bus stops). Not enough towels provided, initially they asked for €2 per extra towel until I explained not enough had been provided based on original booking. Otherwise all good.

In January we booked. We were charger £18 per adult for breakfast when we were told it is £15. The receptionist said it goes up in the new year. However we had booked only a few months ago, this year. You still have advertising stating £15 per adult and half that per child. We were overcharged. Shuttle bus to park one dat just didnt come. We had caught it from there before. The 34 bus would come and the drivers would tell us the shuttle would be the next one. This happened 4 times. No shuttle bus. Time missed from the park, disaapointed children on their once in a lifetime trip. Had to catch a taxi (which created further cost and dramas of which which I will spare you the details) Self catering hotel but no food shop within walking distance. The fridge would not turn on. Upon calling staff twice they eventually came up to help, discovering we had a plug socket not working. So the fridge had to be plugged into the socket for the dishwasher. Couldn't use dishwasher as we needed the fridge more. Room smelled. Eventually figured out it was coming from the drain smelling out the whole apartment especially the room where my children slept. After a long day at Disney we would return knackered to discover a small had built up, too late and cold to open the window or do anything about it.
