"Nice staff and close to city center"

Nice hotel. Staff very nice and friendly. Room was little small for 3 people. Parking was full, and it was hard to find place available next to hotel. Staff recommended some.Hotel is very close to Luzern train station (1 km), can walk normally to there.

Although the room was small and there was no hair dryer, the hotel was so well located, within walking distance of the old city, shopping areas, tourist attractions and main transport terminals.

We stayed at ETAP for 3 nights and we like it. The location was a bit far, but can take bus which come quite frequently. Hotel staff was very helpful. Room was clean and organised and also very good value for money!

I shall tell you in detail about my stay at etap hotel in Luzern. I must say there are many critical issues with etap, initially it should not be recoznized as Hotel and can be termed as Hostel. If you provide correct discription on your website people who are used to stay in Hotels throughout Europe and other world will definitely won't like to stay at Etap. Rooms are not spacious for even two people to live together, it's hygenically not suitable as Open toilet and bath rooms make it pathetic for living of two or more people.Even (Bath Floor) Mats and Towels were not provided according to the number of persons. Country like Switzerland does not allow such inhuman arrangement in a hotel like this. Only positive thing is the location and Well mannered reception staff. "Icy cold winter tour to luzern"

I booked this hotel on the winter deal basis and I liked the stay and the tour. The hotel was basic but better than expected. Nice rooms, good wifi etc. The right things for a overnight stay. The breakfast cost CHF 11.00 for continental breakfast. In summary the right choice for a overnight stay close to the ammenities: train station, city centre and touring. Tip: Train tickets half price are available on sbb.ch if you book in advance: CH 11.00 from zurich to luzern!

Very good value for very modest prize. Has everything you need if you are not going to sit in your room all day long. Clean, comfortagle. A bit too far from city center, so not too good for elders. I think you can go without breakfast if you are not too hungry.

I had great experience when stayed in etap in Luzern.The location is good, about 5 minutes to the railway station.It is clean and comfortable.It is a cost effective way for travelling with tight budget.

The room for 3 is a bit narrow and not much space for movement especially when you have you luggage. However, it is neat and clean.Maybe the mangement should consider having lock for the WC and shower and have a fully covered door to the shower for this type of room.

A 10 min walk Etap,, it maintains it regular cleaniness and Value,, although as all Etaps it is only good for Sleeping at night, we mostly left hotel 9-10 in the mornig and came late evning 10,, so for us was ENough,, people looking to relax bit more should look more into the centre of Luzerne infront of the Lake though will be double the price of ETAP.

The Luzern Etap was the wortst hotel I have ever been in. The toilet closet didn't even have a door handle--just a hole in the door. The sink and the shower were out in the room, so when you stepped out of the shower you were in the middle of the room. And beware of the parking charges.

The room was small but tidy and clean. It had one bunk bed in addition to double bed. The facility would be value for money if fully utilized. I stayed alone. Front desk service has scope of improvements. The hotel has breakfast facility though I did not avail.

Etap is a good hotel for overnight stay, close to the city center of Luzern. more expensive than Etap in other countries, but this is usual in the Swiss land. also expensive parking and very expensive internet connection. we had a good stay, except for the personnel attitude when they found out our country of origin. Swi...land.
