Thank you to the staff who contributed to make my experience a great one; Neelam, Vishni, Divya, Anastasia, Rajeev, Andriano and those i cannot remember their names. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the authenticity displayed, the genuine care and personal touch in making my stay an unforgettable one. I have travelled in several countries and stayef at differenr groups; Hyatt, Marina Bay Sands etc.. but SoMauritius Bel Ombre by far beat everybody, it is the best, from the smiles to the food..

Great staff but hotel was a bit aged

We stayed as a family of 3 for two nights in April, and had an excellent stay. I would have given a higher rating had the room been more in keeping with the rest of rest of the hotel, which looked fine. The setting was beautiful, the gardens full of amazement and well kept. The pool was the warmest we have ever experienced (probably due to the external sun and heat) and very enjoyable for adults and children alike. The food was very good and the beach, while not the best in Mauritius, was beautiful and interesting. We noticed that the staff were excellent generally, full of smiles and attentive - they, along with the great gardens were the key assets of the hotel. Overall a great stay, but I would urge the managers to request time and funds for room renovations.
