"Good for Transit except breakfast"

Stay at hotel because of late arrival. There's 20mins frequency shuttle in the night (10PM) , and information are provided in arrival hall with Novotel signboard (There's desk but no staff at that time). Room is very modern style and comfortable to stay. My room is only equipped with shower, am not sure there's room with bathtub. There's big fitness gym and pool, though I do not have time to use.One dissapointment is breakfast, the food contents are quite shabby. I visited restaurant at 9:00AM, and some buffet items are already empty and never refill for my 45mins stay. Coffea / Tea are on self service, there may be shortage of working staff. Anyway not valuable to choose plan with breakfast. Except breakfast issue, service are better than average.

have been stay for 3 times.paid in advance with accor super sale. upgrade to club room with free breakfast. breakfast in 9F lounge is much great than 1 F. less choice but much quality.worth every penny.

Only thing I think needs improvement is the buffet. It's a high priced buffet for mediocre selection and quality. Otherwise, great hotel!

Hotel is 5mins from airport. Hotel provide free shuttle from/to airport. We stay there for a night before heading into Taipei. At the hotel, we took hotel free shuttle to a huge shopping centre called Metro Walk 大江 shopping centre which is about 5mins ride. There Is a Carrefour in the shopping centre. Can also choose to take the free hotel shuttle to the Taoyuan night market. In the morning, we took the free hotel shuttle to Taoyuan high speed rail station to head into Taipei. Just a short 45mins ride to reach Taipei Main Station. Hotel room is very comfortable and nice. The indoor swimming pool located inside the gym is great. The water in the jacuzzi area is warm. My daughter loves the swimming pool.

Very chic, super efficent in design of space use in room, nice and clean. Staff speak fluent English. 5 mintues to Airport with hotel shuttle. They also provide free shuttle to High Speed Train Station. Restaurant is open and pleasant.Tips: Book 3 weeks in advance to receive Free Buffet Breakfast.

I stay at this hotel every time I visit Taiwan. It is easily accessible by shuttle from the airport which makes it an excellent stop for the first and last night stays of any trip. The hotel is very comfortable and has all the amenities any business traveller would need.

The hotel is conveniently located just 5 mins away from the airport and Novotel provides free bus shuttle service. The hotel personnel speaks good english. The hotel free bus shuttle service is very conveniently located and the bus driver is very accommodating and helpful. The Novotel Staff is also very helpful in assisting us to purchased bus ticket, but unfortunately we forget to asked his name.

Hotel is super-clean and the stuff can not be any better ! It has a shuttle bus connecting the High Speed Train Station. There is also a bus connecting the hotel with the main airport terminal. I will recommend this hotel to any person traveling to Taipei specially if it is for business and has to go to many cities in Taiwan. This can be a great spot specially for the closeness to the High Speed train station.

Hotel was great. Very clean, very good service from the staff, and very affordable prices for rooms. The pool and fitness centers were very nice as well, and the restaurants were very good. Would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.

This is the best place to stay to get familiar with atmosphere and culture of Taipei. 20 minutes of free internet use is a very good idea. Food in Chinese Restaurant is fantastic.The only nuisance is occasional hearing of air traffic noise that comes from the airport.The free offer of music in every room is really good.

2nd time stay, have a premium access room with under 100usd. far away from city.(20 mins by car, free shuttle available). nice gym and swimming pool. shortage: no bath tube, can hear air plant sound(not noise) when very quite night.(without talk or music). front desk lady maybe too junior but lounge in 9 F is manager. the same process can feel difference.

What a surprise to having an upgraded room & service upon check-in.Staff are very helpful & friendly and room condition is excellent. We felt the warmth of welcoming.It will be my first choice to stay in Taoyuan Novotel Airport again particularly after long-hour flight trip.

Not like novotel in europe, this novotel provide only one additional single bed for two kids instead of sofa beds(double/twin), so if you travel with 2 children(2adult + 2 kids), you should consider this problem.Except that, everything is ok.

This is a airport side 4 stars hotel with very good 5 stars service. Executuve floor has much better facilities to enjoy. Club Lounge offer delicious food and drink during 18:00 to 20:00 happy hours. It also offers free breakfast in the morning from 6:30am. Really worth the extra to get a Executuve floor room. You can see airplane taking off but you may also get minor noise that should not bother your sleep for this.

We stayed from Jan 11 to 14 and I can simply summarize our stay as a very pleasant one. The only downside of staying in Novotel is that the MRT connecting Taipei to Taoyuan is still in progress therefore we have to spend around 45 mins to travel to Taipei and another 45-50mins to return via bus. I foresee that this will all change once MRT project is completed. Our stay came w/ free breakfast and I can say that the food was good though it would have been great if the they are able to vary the food selection (not change the entire menu but basically add some variations daily). I am aware this is a challenge operationally but I guess the hotel is geared towards travellers who stay for a very short period. Other than that the facilities are quite impressive as they were very modern and stylish. The hotel room is likewise chic and stylish & comes with free wireless internet access.The room is equipped with audio video jacks (hdmi, composite, vga etc) where you can plug electronic devices to display images on their LCD screen. The room has an ipod dock/clock which I think is connected to the speakers on the ceiling. Too bad I did not bring my ipod to test this out. One major feature that impressed me is that the bathroom comes equipped with a magic glass which at the flick of a switch will cause the frosted glass (dividing the bedroom and bathroom to clear out). Yes, you can see everything from the bedroom and vice versa. Neat! There is an IKEA store in Taoyuan city proper and we took a bus going there (wrong move) as it took us more than 1.5 hours to get there. On our way back, we took a cab and it took us less than 30mins though the fare was about NT$300. If you plan to visit IKEA, take a cab instead of commuting. One important thing to mention here is that we went to IKEA on the day we were to check out. We were scheduled to check out at 2pm (requested this and the hotel staff was very accomodating) but it was half past 12 when we got to IKEA. After we shopped, it was already 145pm. Concerned about missing our check out time, I phoned the hotel and the staff were very understanding and gave us an extension (had to call a few times as they were having difficulties understanding my request for extension). I would like to commend Ms. Tina Chen (fluent in English) for being very helpful all throughout our stay. They have two Apple MAC machines by the lobby which can be used to surf the net (free). They offer free shuttle to and from airport. Great clean hotel!

The highlight must the spa! It was very relaxing and affordable. The hotel suite is big, especially the bath room. The lobby was grand and huge. Staff were courteous. Only the pool was out of commission during that time of stay. Originally wanted to go to the night market but took the wrong bus to the airport terminals instead. It would be good to have signs or locations for shuttle buses going to the city area and the airport terminals clear demarcated. That is the reason for spa because the bus brought us back to the hotel and the next shuttle bus to
