The room was good, except that the bathroom shower did not drain very well - took about one hour to drain. The bathroom vanity basin tap had the hot water coming out the cold side and the cold water coming out the hot side - it took a while to work this out and originally made me think that there was no hot water!

The hotel was Comfortable, convenient & clean. The room was adequate for a couple for a few days stay. My special requests were met to my satisfaction. Breakfast was very disappointing with poor to little choice and poor service..
"Good value for money"

The Ibis is a well priced motel located close to the heart of Albany. The meals were good value with a 'pub' style menu, however we found one meal was enough and opted for leaner healthier alternatives in town. The rooms were clean and well serviced, however a larger bathmat would have been appreciated. A bathroom makeover is probably near due. The bed was very comfortable with all necessary amenities, however guest noises were a little disturbing at times. Overall this is a budget priced motel offering well priced meals and comfortable accommodation.

The hotel was relatively clean but the lighting was a little dark. I loved the patio but the area and chairs needed cleaning. The hotel location was pretty good but do request for rooms away from the main road. The restaurant offers good dinner and scrumptious breakfast. I love the service staff. The ladies (reception and restaurant) serving us were awesome!
"Poor standard of service"

I was not informed on check in that I needed to make a reservation for the evening meal. I waited 50 minutes before being told that a table would be ready in half an hour. I went somewhere else for dinner. The shaower recess was dirty, water pressure poor.the traffic noise at night was loud.I also had people trying to enter my room at night - wrong room for themwhen I spoke with th eperson on th edesk on check out they did not seem interested in my feedback. "A Short Stay In Albany"

Stayed three nights and found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable for the price we paid. Even included full buffet breakfast every morning but there was not enough staff working on breakfast shift. The hotel was a good place to stay and was situated right on the entrance to Albany and exit to all the tourist places but a bit out of the city centre. We had a very nice stay in Albany.View management response »

While not ideally located or near the beach, it is only 5 minutes from the centre of town. Well appointed, clean and comfortable rooms and great value for money, particularly compared to other accommodation only a few minutes closer to the beach.View management response »

"Great comfortable stay"

Hotel rooms are clean and tidy. I have been fortunate enough to stay at this Hotel on a number of occassions and have never been dissapointed with the rooms or the service. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. The one and only thing that lets this place down time and time again is the food.Not much has changed in the bistro in all the time I have stayed there.However regardless of the food situation, I will continue to stay here as I believe it to be the best value for money accommodation in Albany.View management response »

"Deluxe room - not really"

Room was booked on Accor website, deluxe with king bed and a single 134 dollars. Motel was old style and away from town centre. Room contained a king bed, old style elaborate wooden furniture, bathroom was tiny, with a basin toilet and shower which was dirty and stained. There was not even a shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries etc.room very dark and light over tea/coffee making area did not work. On the plus side the bed was comfortable,there was a large screen TV, and Foxtel. On checkout I pointed out that the room was not what I paid for and the bill was reduced by 20 dollars.View management response »
