I was treated very kindly at the Novotel Shamshabad Airport. Every effort was made to be accommodating, including rectifying an error I had made in making the reservation online. Every situation has its unique set of elements and cannot all be rectified equitably by "going by the book." Here was a situation where a bit of kindness and understanding on the part of the hotel staff will ultimately bring more business to them through my being a loyal customer. The young woman (Priyanka) who checked me in should be highly commended by the management and given a promotion. She acted responsibly and intelligently to both myself and her employer. She also followed up to make sure I was satisfied. A total pro with caring and heart added.The buffet breakfast was excellent. So was every meal I ate at the hotel. Their pool was actually CLEAN (that is a first in India for me)! It was not only clean, it was beautiful!I have nothing but praise for the hotel and its staff. Congratulations. I have finally stayed at a hotel in India that actually measures up to international standards in service. With declining services worldwide, perhaps the Novotel staff have established a new and higher standard to be admired and appreciated.I highly recommend this hotel.

"Excellent Hotel"

I enjoyed my trip to Hyderabad though the location was bit far from the City but it was very easy for coming to and going back as it is located very near to the Airport and away from the crowded and noisy atmosphere. The staffs are very friendly and always smiling.

Check-In problems.... "Extra charges"

We pre-booked two rooms online through the Accor website. The rate provided was 8264.60 INR. We booked to stay over night booking the 2 rooms. On arrival we were advised that the rate given to us through our reservation was incorrect and that the two rooms would now cost 14797.90 INR. On the basis we needed to be at Hyderabad Airport at 5.00am in the morning we were not in a position to find another hotel. On arriving home we discovered that the 14797.60 IR had been charged and this has been processed twice, the second of which has yet to be refunded and is shown as pending on our bank account. However, the hotel was good and can certainly be recommended but we are not happy that a rate was offered and booked through the Accor website which was then amended on our arrival.

Food has to be of better quality. Twice we felt that food was about to become stale. If food goes bad and people become sick then it spreads a bad message to rest of the world. Other than this, overall experience was wonderful. Also, i wanted to stay in a suite with family but limit per room or suite is 2 adults. I wanted something big even if expensive where entire family can stay together rather than in 2 different rooms although on the same floor.

"Dint get what I asked for"

I have booked a queen bed and I was given two single beds. When I was told about this at the reception I thought I made a mistake while booking, but later on when I checked reservation details I found I was right and hotel made a mistake.

Very comfortable, plenty of space and very clean.Staff very attentive and helpful. Although my stay was only one night, I would not hesitate to stay there again. Room services was quick and food excellent.

"Location is the primary asset"

I stayed at this hotel for an overnight stay to catch an international flight very early the next day since I am not from Hyderabad. The proximity to the airport terminal makes this hotel very important.Ordered coffee (at a very pricey rate + room service fee + VAT and taxes) that came in luke warm. Door has opening at bottom with the floor and hence not even decently sound proof.Door to the bathroom and toilet is tinted glass and does not provide 100% non visibility. You can trace the outline of the person structure. Not a good option if you are staying with non-spouse roommates.

"A nice getaway place"

Airport Novotel is an exclusive and peaceful place for leisure weekend. It has very good rooms and nice dining hall. One can choose to dine open air and also beside the pool. You can get maximum only you choose the room that is pool side.

"Excellent getaway hotel close to the city"

Great hotel - awesome for a quick getaway without the bother of travel. Spent a weekend with wife and kids on our anniversary. Kids loved the pool and wife adored the spa. Overall a great value for money and convenient location in a lush green environment
