Poor service and late cancellation by the hotel.

Sadly I never got to experience the hotel, as despite having made my booking over 2 months in advance for an event I was attending, they cancelled my booking 10 days before I was due to stay, effectively leaving me high and dry and scrambling to find somewhere else. When I phoned to query this cancellation I was told by a very nice polite receptionist, that there were 'technical issues' which meant that the hotel had inadvertently overbooked. As I had made my booking very early I was surprised that I was being cancelled, so I was assured that a manager would phone me back to discuss the issue. No one ever did of course. I suspect the hotel discovered they could sell my room for more money. I've stayed in a lot of Ibis hotels over the years, but not sure I will again if I can't trust them to honour a booking.

This was my third time staying at ibis Swansea everything is very good clean comfy rooms great facilities in the hotel e.g restaurant, bar and comfy sitting area out of the room for everyone to enjoy you could even have a game of pool if you’d like all the staff are very friendly and do everything they can to make your stay perfect. I would highly recommend this ibis to anyone.
