"Super!"
10th May 2012, birmingham
We had a wonderful one night stay! We stayed on a DBB deal and would highly recommend this for value. Drinks are a bit steep in bar but nice wine / cocktails. The room we had was number 28 and this was quite far from reception / dinner etc but closer to leisure area. the room was very nicely decorated (modern) bed was very comfy. view from each window was poor - roof tops of other buildings and air conditioning unit but we didnt spend much time in room to be honest. the building itself and surrounding area is beautiful!

"Overnight stay"
5th April 2012, Northampton, United Kingdom
We booked two room which were not ready when we checked in at the alloted time of 2pm. They were not finished until 3.30 but the hotel provided us with a pot of tea for the inconvenience. In one of the rooms, the wardrobe doors did not slide and despite notifying the hotel, this was not rectified. An engineer called our room at 8am to tell us that the smoke alarm was going off (which is wasn't, but didn't fix the wardrobe). The spa and pool were great and we used them on both days. Did not eat at the restaurant as the choice was limited and the drinks way too expensive (cheapest wine was £28 a bottle). Breakfast was great and the receptionist courteous and helpful.

"Overnight stay when visiting Shrewsbury."
21st March 2012, Solihull, United Kingdom
A good value half board stay. Food in the restaurant was good and the breakfast was very good with all fresh produce used. The best aspect of the hotel was the service - everyone without exception was pleasant and professional. Service in the restaurant was particularly good. Some warning in the road that the entrance is coming up would be helpful!

"A Lovely Weekend."
18th September 2011, Leigh-on Sea, United Kingdom
The hotel is set in pleasant grounds in a quiet country location. All staff were very welcoming, helpful and pleasant. There were two weddings over the weekend and the two receptionists on duty when we booked in, realising our age, unprompted, moved us to a quiet room far from the wedding parties. This, we thought, was very kind and caring and we were vvery grateful. The food and service were excellent, especially the breakfast.
"Will be good when finished"
9th September 2011, jean9618, London
The hotel and grounds are nice. We stayed in the Stable Wing and there was no lock on the main door. The room was nicely decorated in neutral colours. The bed was comfortable. Good shower. The standard of cleanliness in the hotel was good. There was a choice of hot and cold buffet breakfast but other items were also available from the menu. Dinner menu was limited and not very adventurous. Would have been nice to have had a daily special with local seasonal products, but the meal we had was ok. The bar area had no atmosphere and the bar staff were inexperienced. One bar worker didn't know how to open a bottle of wine and had to get a member of staff from the kitchen to show him how to operate the coffee machine. The duvet was far too heavy for the room. Even in the middle of winter it would have been too heavy. The 'hospitality' tray consisted of one packet of two biscuits and no water. The good thing about the hotel was the location. Only four miles from Shrewsbury and a good base for visiting other places in Shropshire. I don't think I would return to this particular hotel but I had a feeling that it was a 'job in progress' and maybe when the works have finished it may be okay.
"Unkind hotel group"
3rd September 2011, Kent
I booked this hotel as a comfortable place to stay for my ancient mum and myself as we needed to cross the country to visit an ancient relative who was in hospital. Our relative was moved to another hospital at the last moment so of course we had to cancel. The hotel refused to refund the cost of the stay. Of course they were within their rights but I would have thought that given the circumstances they could have been generous. As it was they just added stress at time when it was least needed.I often stay at hotels within this group for business purposes, I may not do so again.
"Lovely"
2nd September 2011, Crewe
Lovely location, impressive public rooms. Bedroom large, clean, very comfortable. I slept like a log and loved the bed; my husband found it too hard. Can't please everybody!Only fault was very expensive drinks in hotel bar.
"Very enjoyable stay"
12th August 2011, Brussels
The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are quaint and agreeable. The grounds well tended and a pleasure for the eye. The only sour note to our dismay was the Restaurant. The service was very friendly but the food was mediocre. Tasteless and no real effort at presentation. A pity for an otherwise very pleasant overnight stay on our way to Wales.
"Perfect place to relax but close enough to Shrewsbury"
12th August 2011, St Helens
Cannot praise the team at Albrighton enough. From the moment we were welcomed by Laura on reception we had a brilliant stay. All the staff were extremely polite and could not do enough for you. The food was excellent and the room perfect.I had sent a note to the the hotel to mention it was my wifes birthday but did not expect the upgraded room so what a treat :-)We will be back.
"Enjoyable stay in good location"
11th August 2011, Burgess Hill
Room very well equipped and spacious. Good views of grounds. Service very good in general. Nice swimming pool. Hope to return in future. Good base for exploring Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Chester. Nice relaxing base to return to after a day out.
"Lovely"
5th August 2011, Celbridge
Broke up my journey home with a stay here, and was very impressed. The girl at reception was lovely, the bed was very comfortable (very important to me!) and the fitness/spa area was excellent. All this, and I got a great price too,.. very satisfied.
"RELAXING WEEKEND"

We had a relaxing weekend at this spa hotel and the close proximity of the hotel to Shrewsbury was ideal for a stroll around the town.Would recommend this hotel especially for the quietness. The prices at the bar was comparable to most hotels at this rating. The service of the staff was excellent
