"Well worth the money!"

Check in was quick and easy and the staff were friendly. The room was clean and practical. The location is good as it is only a short drive into the city centre.

"Good value - friendly service"

From check-in to leaving the staff are very courteous and efficientRooms are functionally well-designed, clean and a good size for one whilst adequate for a family of 3. Bed mattress is thin so correspondingly is firm.Shower rooms and toilets all work and are clean.Had a couple of minor issues with a broken curtain blind.Breakfasts are good value continental, and snacks and drinks are available 24/7.Parking is close by, well marked out and with enough capacity, although not secured.

"Leicester Etap"

I have stayed at Etap Leicester on 5 occassions now and can not praise them enough. They are a super team, always friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless, and in good order. I think this hotel is real value for money, it has saved me hundreds of pounds whilst attending a university course. Highly recommended.

Was very disappointed that there was no kettle in the room, and I had to go back down to reception to get a hot drink. This is very obviously a "budget" hotel, so I guess you get what you pay for - facilities are basic to say the least.

"Basic but very cheap."

Room was small and basic but clean and very cheap. Only major letdown was the bed, which was very hard and uncomfortable but the Manager told me ETAP chain beds are being upgraded later this year in a rebranding exercise.The buffet breakfast was excellent value for money.

"Vaule For Money"

Perfect for a trip to Leicester.Just outside the city, just off the main motorways meaning easy access, and only a short taxi ride to the city centre.Clean, quiet, and freindly welcome. Basic, but within easy reach of ammenities, and included everything I needed for the weekend

"Prison Cell !!"

What can we say, it was so basic we nearly went out & bought some furniture to put in it. It's the nearest we've been to having the pleasure of staying in a prison cell. It felt so dirty we didn't take our socks off until we got in the shower & even then it was risky. NEVER AGAIN !!However cheap it seems-save your money & don't do it!!

"Good price and very central for me"

I have to travel to Leicester at least 10 times a year and this hotel is right where i need it to be, the rooms are very basic, but clean, i just found the bed quite hard and couldn't sleep to well, but i will book again. The staff were very helpful and friendly

"Excellent value for money!"

I stayed here as it was only £18 for the night - the room was clean and the bed was great (had a very good night's sleep).As long as you are happy not to have the thrills of having a picture on the wall, or having little sachets of tea/cofee and a kettle, and the sorts of things you get at a 3/4/5 star hotel at much higher prices, then this is the place to go if stopping over in Leicester with a car.

"Pleasantly surprised"

I was dubious about booking into an Etap but really was pleasantly surprised! I'd heard stories about how it was a boozers' hotel; a place to crash after a big night out. But needs must and this was within walking distance to friends we were visiting in Rothley.Plus points..- free parking- pleasant and helpful staff- handy location, straight on the road home - quieter than expected (possibly due to out of town location)Be aware that...- the rooms are clean, basic and functional, you wouldn't want to spend too much time in there though (fairly clinical)- the beds were pretty hard- don't expect a view or tea tray! Although there are options to buy essentials on site (in the hotel, nearby garage and KFC)

"Clean and Comfortable"

Clean and comfortable room and hotel,could do with free WIFI in the room as my spouse is disabled and was not comfortable about sitting in the public areas as opposed to the comfort of the room. Location not great but had the car so wasn`t too bad.

"Neat and Cosy"

The rooms were neat, the staff were really helpful and kind. I needed help getting a taxi to london and the staff helped me phone around for the best deal. I would visit again and booked another Etap based on that, hopefully the experience would be the same.

"good stop off point"

the hotel was basic but clean and tidy with no frills. Good stopover and close enough to be able to get into city in 5 mins.. The staff were very friendly. Could do with some tables and chairs outside on a nice evening to be able to sit out as very hot in the cafe area
