"Clean, Modern and Efficient"
10th May 2012, wendy_mcr, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The rooms are utilitarian, uncluttered, not fancy. The rooms have sufficient space. The bathrooms are clean and modern. The door to the bathroom is a bit noisy when opened or closed, only noticed at night. Because the area is being developed, there is construction noise in the morning at the moment, but the night was quiet enough. We loved the proximity to the train station, a 5 minute walk.

"Overall"
29th April 2012
Excellent position for Temple Meads station and also river ferry just down below. This hotel is fairly new and the rooms with their modern wood flooring is very nice, roomy and comfortable. Excellent pricing and very clean apart from the outside which does`nt appear to be cleaned up from all the litter by the front entrance, which is very strange. Staff are friendly, mostly foreign and efficient. I like the position of this hotel as you can get buses to many destinations outside the rail station and theriver ferry is cheap and frequent for access to various stop offs on route to SS Great Britain. Overall was very pleased with our stay and would stay again.

"Bristol"
22nd April 2012, Murf999, England
Reasonable hotel near temple meads station. Handy for city , but not the best walk especially for a solo woman. Lot of redevelopment, but at night all the offices are closed and so a bit desolate. Ibis is what it is only gripe with hotel is lack of car parking. Expensive at staion and rest of area it is tricky to get close.

"Ibis Temple Meads Quay, Bristol UK"
21st April 2012, segamat75, Adelaide, Australia
My only grouse it that it has no onsite nor off street parking. We were given very vague direction to park at the nearby railway station for overnight parking and we had to drive around that area a few times to find the exact location(there are other parking stations nearby which make it more confusing),and that only with the help of GPS.Overall its good value for money and the rooms are modern clean and very spacious. Will definately recommend this hotel to friends if the parking issue is addressed

Management responseDear Guest, Thank you for leaving your thoughts here. The team and I are glad that you enjoyed your stay, and we have taken note of your comments regarding car parking situation. You are absolutely right to say that the car park we offer to our guests is not of the best condition and convenience. Unfortunately, this is the best alternative at the moment for the nearest place to park for our guests. Nevertheless, rest assured that we are addressing the issue and have already sourced a solution - short 2 minutes walk pay-and-display car park at a very reasonable price. If you have an opportunity to stay with us again, please call our reception for directions. Thank you once again for your time and kind regards,Andrey BelogortsevGeneral Manager

"Parking problems"
18th April 2012, gotthereintheend, Redon, France
The hotel itself is up to Ibis standard but beware ... there is no car park. And the recommended public car park (add £12/day to the quoted room charge if you are travelling by car) maybe nearby as the crow flies but is not easy to find for a visitor to Bristol. Also the receptionist (perfectly polite and intending to be helpful) gave us slightly incorrect directions to get to the car park and we wasted half an hour trying to get there. The rooms are fine.

Management responseDear Guest, Thank you for leaving your feedback here. I was glad to read that you enjoyed your stay with us and found our products and services being up to a highest Ibis standard. However, I was sorry to hear of your disappointment with regards to the cost of the car parking and its location. You are absolutely right to say that the car park we offer to our guests is not of the best convenience. Unfortunately, this is the best alternative at the moment for the nearest place to park for our guests and we are always making sure to notify our guests prior to arrival about that. Thank you again for your comments and we hope to welcome you back at Ibis Bristol Temple Meads in the near future. Kind regards, Andrey BelogortsevGeneral Manager

"Great Hotel, Terrible Parking"
15th March 2012, Gloucester, United Kingdom
Stayed at hotel to visit Bristol and an event at the club 'Motion'. Hotel is 3mins walk from motion and about 20mins until the start of town Hotel. Staff very friendly and polite, however the hotel has no parking and the recommended carpark charges £8.50 overnight (day rate extortionate too) Not the nicest part of Bristol to be leaving car unattended in so unless you want a 30minute walk to a cheaper carpark or arrive on the train, book parking before you go. Room clean and spacious, TV very small though, but good internet/movie package.

"Excellent Service"
23rd February 2012, Bath, United Kingdom
Minutes from Bristol Temple Meads rail station and not too far from the city centre. The room was very clean and in good order; could benefit from a socket point near to the kettle provided, but this was our only criticism. Staff were excellent and very proactive. Location is great for the train station but not the type of environment that I would like to be walking in at night (industrial area with no apparent residential buildings); there is a footbridge over the river linking the hotel with the rail station but, again, not a residential area and quite spooky at night.Breakfast buffet - very tired scrambled eggs but other than that everything was good. The coffee machine is excellent ( just back from France and it puts their cafe creme to shame); the small capsules of Nutella proved very popular.

"Ibis - Temple Meads"
9th February 2012, Leedsfansontour, Leeds
Well-placed for city centre and nightlife. Parking on the expensive side but ok, easy to find. Room wasn't cleaned and housekeeping had gone home by the time we returned to find this out. Reception did what they could for us. Would recommend if staying in Bristol City Centre. Also easy to get buses to Ashton Gate from Temple Meads.

Management responseDear Guest, Many thanks for your comments. We appreciate all feedback and are glad you enjoyed your stay and found our hotel's location suitable for Bristol City centre visits. On the other hand, I was disappointed to learn that the standard of cleanliness in your bedroom fell below expectations. Our Housekeeping team have a stringent set of daily procedures to follow and it is evident these were not adhered to on this occasion, for this I apologise. We have, of course, taken up your particular complaint with the staff involved to rectify any shortcomings.Thank you once again for the feedback and I hope we can welcome you back to the Ibis Temple Meads in Bristol very soon. Kind regards, Andrey BelogortsevGeneral Manager
