"Value for money"
23rd September 2013, dpickettau, Carcoar, NSW
It's just down the road from its expensive cousins, so good value for money. I paid for parking, but they let me stay all the remaining day at no extra charge which suited as my business meeting was near the railway station.
"best ibis budget in sydney"
23rd September 2013, sportmum79, Wollongong, Australia
if you need to be in olympic park for music or sport event and just need a bed for night this is fine but only if you can get a room for under 100. it is the only ibis budget we will stay at in sydney . great cafe underneath during day but bit of walk in evening to other venues at night. gets too pricey if there are several major events on in SOP . its annoying that price fluctuates so much
"Tea ,urgent need of a kettle."

"Convenient and value for money"
22nd September 2013, AniLou007, Grafton, Australia
Easy to find, convenient location to Sydney Olympic Park. Quiet location and sound proof rooms. Just make sure you know how to operate the A/C to have fresh air for the night as windows are sealed - the staff are very helpful though and this would not be a problem. They even suggested where to park my car as it is larger than average.

Reception, parking and rooms as good as could be for the level of accommodation at which this hotel is pitched. We only wanted a room for the night no frills and our every wish was fulfilled. Reception staff were very smart and good at their job. Parking as good as any hotel could be and the room was immaculate.

If your on a budget than this is the place. Location was great . I did find the cleanliness of the hotel was very poor. From the toilets in the the lobby to the rubbish build up out the back. As the old saying goes you get what you pay for.

toilet and shower clean but bedside tables had layers of dust, under bed looked like it had not been cleaned for months, room not very clean at all. rushed out of room by cleaners before check ot time. confused with different rates for parking ??????

I found the service very helpful and polite. The room was comfortable. Sufficient for the needs of a weekend. The location was perfect for the programes that I needed to attend. Just a walk up the street the the venue I was to attend.I liked the fact that it was nice and quiet, easy access to everything, like eating places just up the street. The parking was a great price for a full day.
"Worst Hotel Stay Ever"
10th September 2013, Elvemere, Scone NSW Australia
I booked through the accor website and booked IBIS but was booked through IBIS Budget (didn't even know there was an IBIS Budget). Got to the hotel at 3.45pm and the room wasn't ready. We finally got into the room to find that there was no bar fridge to put our drinks in, there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the downstairs one wasn't available so the only choice was a vending machine where I had to pay for a coffee. There were no blankets on our bed but a thin mattress protector-like thing between 2 sheets as the blanket. There was only 1 pillow each which were as flat as pancakes and the mattress was so hard it could double as a boulder. The 2 towels in the bathroom were as thin as paper and as old as the hills and wouldn't dry a baby. When booking online I also booked and paid for the $9 buffet breakfast (yes it says buffet breakfast on my receipt) only to go down to breakfast looking forward to at least a nice breakfast of bacon and eggs only to find that it wasn't a buffet breakfast but a continental breakfast of a choice of cornflakes, sultana bran or nutri-grain, toast, canned fruit salad and child size yoghurt pots. The tea and coffee was in foam cups and all the cutlery was plastic. This was the first time my husband and I had stayed anywhere without our children in 13 years and was our 21st anniversary and thanks to IBIS Budget it was one of the worst nights of my life and the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I would NEVER stay in this hotel again and I will be making sure that everyone I know, knows not to stay in this hotel. Accor Hotels should be ashamed of themselves.
"family, not really!"
9th September 2013, splashme2013, Gloucester, Australia
have stayed here numerous times & always found it quite ok. We required a family room for 4 adults this time. Not very impressed...only one glass in the bathroom for 4 people! Asked staff about getting 3 more & was told they weren't available. Only 2 cakes of soap (not that that mattered, as we had our own but...) A doona was stained & as appears the practice nowadays...none had any covers. If this is the case, they should be clean. & not stained. No blankets available...we didn't need them because we had to use the air-con, but could've reversed this if blankets were available.
"Budget but great location"
9th September 2013, Legend0801, Orange, Australia
Great location. Great price. Made a great base to go to Concert. Easy walk to food and drinks. Will stay again. Room was small but we had a family of four in it. Very basic, but you get what you pay for.. Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother, even when very busy.
"Clean and comfortable"

I stayed here for one night as i was attending a conference. My stay was mid week. The room was very small, but it was very clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful and provided good customer service. Thank you.

i can not believe i paid $160 a night to stay there and on one of ur busiest nights u HAVE NO TOWELS and your staff can not give us an idea of when they will arrive or anything, ur cleaning staff where incredibly rude with one staff member pretending to not know how to speak english so he didn't have to answer a question, was not happy put a real dampener on the evening lucky enough Pink was amazing and i forgot all about it, you then had the issues that it was a 20 minute wait to get up the lifts once we got back because everyone was coming back from the same concert would have been happy to walk up stairs but no one knew where they were
