Etap hotels may not be the most exciting ones, but everything works well, the people are helpful and the price is right.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. Although a walk over the bridge to the beach at St. Jean de Luz (approx. 10 minutes), the area the hotel is located in is comfortable with available street parking even in the high season. We only stayed one night but found it suited our needs. The rooms are very basic, no frills, but clean and fairly new. The continental breakfast was good, and the front desk attendants were very helpful, even assisted us in calling our hotel in Madrid with questions.
"A stopover for the fête"

We wanted to be in St Jean for the fête and this proved to be a good choice. A little awkward to get to the town on foot, better signing would have helped. Plenty of secure covered parking at a very reasonable rate. Overall a very good experience
