I have made 2 reservation, first was from 10-13 march 2012, an another as per website and reception guide i made t for next three days with hope of refund in case of cancellation as i checked in counter, but by the time i want to cancel 2 days i have received nothing from desk, and the reply was totaly different, we do not refund it is your problem, that is not acceptable for me and i did not sign the papers, please consider my 2 days cancellation as a vocher for future use for me.thanks

ibis Al Barsha: 3.0 out of 5 stars "An basic large thee star IBIS hotel near Dubai Mall"

The Hotel is much larger than the normal IBIS near Dubai Mall, which is far out of dubai centre. It has a reasonable bar and good restaurant for breakfast and an evening meal. The food is ok, basic, but good. There is pleanty of car parking outside. The lobby area is large, and the front desk staff are pleasnnt and efficient. The rooms are clean and of a good size for an IBIS but the bathrooms very basic with no toiletries and no free drinking water supplied. The hotel is very expensive to stay at at peak times. Be carefull of the bar prices, and check your change, dont buy bottled water from the bar, as they will charge 8 AED but on the landings on most floor water can be purchaced at 1 AED a bottle from the vending machines. I would not recomend the hotel because of the position far from Dubai centre and the price and lack of free bottled water.

ibis Al Barsha: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Nice hotel"

The Ibis Al Barsha is a really nice hotel. There is just one small problem, it is really not close to anything, though you could argue that Mall of Emirates is close. But, at desert temperature and I was there on June, I would not actually even think of trying to walk to anyplace. I actually rented a car, so for me it was not a problem at all. Other than that the service and everything else was top notch. I had packed my own navigation and drove to the hotel from airport without any problems. Checked in at 4:00 in the morning still I had no problems checking in and getting my room's keys.

I stayed one night at the Ibis Al Barsha. Very clean, good location, very quiet - despite being next to a busy highway - great air-conditioning, so room was very cool. Delivered an iron and ironing board within 5 minutes of my asking, despite my late arrival - very important when I had a business meeting early the next morning! Only criticism would be that it would be good to have a kettle in the room for that first cup of coffee in the morning, rather than having to get dressed and go to the coffee shop in the lobby.

The wonderful thing about ibis is the pricing. It's very reasonable, and preferrable over any other hotel. However, there are a few small amenities that could make one's stay much better. First, a kettle to heat water, with a couple of tea bags and sugar etc. Second, larger towels. Third, a stronger blowdryer. Fourth, a bathtub! Finally, I think that the hotel would be much more attractive if the room stay included a basic breakfast (i.e. coffee, toast and butter / cheese, fruits, cereal). Overall, due to the excellent cost of the room, the hotel is satisfactory.

the hotel is satisfactory. But the size of the toilet, particularly the toilet commode space is very small and cramped. A slightly obese persom may find it hard to sqeeze in !! The rooms are clean and reasonable size for the price

all stuff in the lobby cafe are very expensive. Ibis hotel near by Emiraetis mall has better location than Al Barsha but in general I like it because it's quiet and has a very nice people work at the reception.

Ibis El Barsha, I can call it as a smart option if your are planning to stay for some time in Dubai, or if you have a mission there, or just to relax...For sure in Dubai there are many luxurious options, but I consider this option is the best if the purpose of your visit to Dubai is not to stay in a hotel or a resort..I guess its a best rate if you want to stay in international chain hotel,otherwise you will go to any local hotel apartments.But as well the rooms are small as well the toilet is tiny, but very clean and tidy..if you have a big family then you must go for a hotel apartment.

The rooms are ok and when we booked online for two single beds, we were alloted a room with single king size bed. So they dont value their own line booking. It is on the high way with no business center near by and the hotel royally charges VERY HIGH charges for internet where internet is becoming the basic requirement of business travellers. Even the breakfast is given comlimentary in major hotels this hotel still dreams to charge for that.
