Hotel provides service which is expected of international hotel chain like accor but I strongly suggest to have room service and ice making machines on each floor. I do understand Ibis is budget brand but suggest room service could be added at additional 20% service charges. Location is bit far from Walking street but there is ample local transport to reach there. Overall nice experience.

As for your suggestions, you are right that we do not provide those services. A part is due to our concept and a part is due to our environmental program Planet21. Alternatively we do provide ice for all our guests at our Lobby Bar which is opened 24 hours. Additionally the hot and cold dishes served at our Bar can be taken up any time. Simply tell our staff and they will prepare everything to be transported safely to your room. "Pattaya...paradise"

The hotel is not overlooking the sea, its on the second street , just behind Amari Orchid, you can get a glimpse of the sea from the fire escape. Staff friendly, food is good and rooms are excellent. There are shops around the corner for food, massage and also a Disco is there nearby.

Management responseDear guestI could not agree more with you. Pattaya has got it all, it does not matter if you are here with your family, your friends or all alone. There is so much to see, try and explore that you will not get bored. From sports like jet ski, parasailing, swimming, go kart or golf to adventure like zip line, ATV or paint ball there is something to suit everyones taste. From simple food stalls to high class international gourmet cuisine, there is nothing that you cannot find.There are many travellers going to Thailand, but I personally think that the smart ones choose Pattaya! "Budget Hotel with pretty good location"

Good location if you are visiting with friends or Family with walking distance to the beachWalking street is pretty far from the hotel and need to hire a tuk tuk to reach thereNext to Tiffany Show and 5 minutes walking distance from Alcazar showThe rooms are small but hygenic which should have been the most important criteria for selecting the hotelStaff is friendly and helpful and had a good stay at the hotel for 2 days :)

Further that you have pointed out the hygiene of our rooms and the friendly and helpful staff we have. The Baht bus or so called "song taew" are driving around Pattaya counter-clock-wise from Second road to Beach road and also pass by Walking Street. Those buses basically stop wherever you wish to by simply pressing on a ringer which indicates the driver to immediately stop. Such a ride from the hotel up to Walking Street will cost you 10 Baht per person.It is one of our highest priorities to fulfill international standards in terms of hygiene throughout our hotels. "Trainees at front desk with wrong attitude..Don´t like."

Have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and always been lucky to get a room on the poolside wich have a balcony. This time I asked for the same kind of room but the trainee that served me said it was impossiblesince the hotel was sold out. I checked later with other persons at the front desk and even housekeeping and they said the hotel was definitly not soldout. The trainee àlso forget to inform me about WIFI and that the hotel now adays have free WIFI even in rooms and not only in reception area.

"Best budget hotel"

This hotel is clean and modern. We stay at family room for 3 days and absolutely good value for money. My son was so happy, feels like home, there is playstaton 3 video game in room. We had a problem in room wifi connection, but its solved (at our fourth complined) with high speed wifi connection in room. Thank you Ibis Pattaya :) The located fairly centrally and is a short walk away from the sea front.

"Overnight Stay -"

One thing that bugged me was the lack of the toiletries in the room.No shaver. Soap and Shampoo was mixed up in a dispenser beside the shower.It is located in the midst of Pattaya near Alcazar and Tiffany and near the Tiffany indoor shooting range so it is quite far (but not too far) from all the bar scenes. Good location and one of the newer hotels in Pattaya.

"Ibis Pattaya"

This hotel is very clean and modern, and has some nice views of the sea. The rooms are a little small but absolutely good value for money. It's located fairly centrally and is a short walk away from the sea front. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around the hotel and there is also a supermarket a few minutes walk down the road. There is also an adequately sized car park at the front of the hotel.

Good value for the money but do check out Tune Hotels nearby if you're on a budget... Just book it you will not be disappointed. The location is excellent for the SkyTrain and the local night spots. Buffet lunch very good value for money rooms very clean and bedding changed daily. Always worth the visit.
