"Good Location, Great Value"

When i booked it, I didn't realise it was that close to Lumpini MRT, as well as to Sathorn, so it was a plus.Staff were helpful and though for some of them, their english were pretty basic.The first room that they check-ed me into had many ants on the table, and then they offered me to change room, which I did.Overall, good experience.

nice place who has a dog with good location for tourist attraction. I also stayed once near the riverside that was a good location near by the Chao Phraya River and fabulous view for what price we paid..

I got this hotel for an amazing price, US$20 on a huge sale 3 months before my stay. I stayed one week, so I got a good idea of the place. I was given a room facing the back, and it was wonderfully quiet except when huge tour groups would congregate in the halls or leave their doors open and yell to each other. Not the hotels' fault but just FYI it's occasionally overrun with groups.The room was cleaned daily, and I think they did a good job. However, in my 6 nights stay I saw cockroaches on 4 separate nights. I reported it my first night and probably should have again but hey, it's hard to get rid of them. I only saw one at a time, so it was manageable--and for that price, who could complain?Location is great--about a 10-minute walk to both the Lumphini Park and Lumpini Subway station. From the airport, take the Airport Link train to Makkasan, then walk about 200m to the Ratchadapisek Subway station, then it's about 4 stops to Lumpini. Should be less than an hour and quite cheap!Most restaurants nearby charge more than they should because it's a tourist area. But most places are decent. I had laundry done at a place down the small street off where the parking lot is, on a small lane to the right. Very cheap and done the next day. Money exchange is also across the street. So the location is good.Rooms are small but functional. Small refrigerator in the room too, where I stored ALL my food once I saw the cockroaches. :)

"good bargain"

I got 50% disc from accor, It's a very good bargain. And their service is good even though it's a promo price.. :) The check-in & check-out process is very fast and prompt. The hotel is decent and comfortable. They clean the room every day, but the towel was a bit dirty (there were a stain on it).The location is near-by MRT, so the access is easy, and there's 7-eleven opposite the hotel.

"It was valuable hotel"

We stay for 6 days. The room Always clean, hotel was clean, modern and we had really quick check in service, high speed wifi connection in room all the time and the staff was good... Except the lady behind tour desk.. We feel she trick us with her floating market tour offer. Unfortunately we realize after we had through the tour :(The location near to the lumpini station, malls such Central World, Siam Paragon, etc. And easy to get taxi.We recommend this hotel as valuable hotel.

"Imporovement Require"

This is my first time stay in IBIS hotel normally with Mercure and Novotel in Perth, Cairns I choose this hotel because of the location nearby to the building I am having my Business meeting. But it is quite a disappointment1 Hotel Bed not comfortable at all, woke up with backache imagine 5 night at your hotel2 Bed sheet with hole not one but three and remarkable I have that bed sheet for the whole stay not even change at all when cleaning was done.3 Bar staff handle situation unprofessionally with an short pay of drink with one of the guest4 Front desk staff have this high tone voice sound more like shouting to guest5 By saying quite near to Lumpini station, not near at all I did try to walkHope some improvement could be done to uphold the brand name.

"My stay at Ibis Sathorn"

The room was clean but when I dropped something on the floor and got down to pick it up I could see that it had not been cleaned under the bed for some time. There was quite a bit of dust under the bed even though it is easy to reach under. I had difficulty in finding the hotel even though we asked people who were working nearby. Maybe a small detailed map on the hotel website

absolute best value for money, best friendly service and clean rooms.good location and good beds. I ve stayed in many similar hotels in Bangkok before but this one is the best of its category, I would reccomend everyone to stay in this hotel.

"good value stay!"

Ibis Bangkok sathorn, very centrally located and yet tucked away from the noisy main streets. Easy access from and to the airport express way ( best way to avoid the heavy traffic in Bangkok ). Very close to Silom for nightlife,Siam Sq for shopping and many spas for massage!Good service and helpful staffs. Each time i have a request from a staff he or she will try her best to help me to resolve it, even though they are busy.. sometimes there are loads of guests checking in or out.. ibis sathorn is getting popular with mass tourists... who can be noisy at times.Overall, it is a very good value hotel.

"Generally good but quality in service and cleanliness has dropped since the last time I stayed there"

It is great value for money, with good service, facilities, cleanliness and bright interiors. If I do not compare it to my previous stay at iBis Sathorn overall I would have no complaints. But since I do stay there once to twice a year I do feel that the quality in service and clealiness has dropped and it is not as good as it used to be.Having said that I would still stay there in future as I trust that improvements will be made as managements there are fast to react to constructive feedbacks.

"good choice if on budget and are on business"

far away from the touristy kao san road. not the best choice if you want to do that tourist vacation in bangkok / thailand. but this hotel is greatly located close to important business centers and in the lumphini park nearby one can greatly relax. - also, 7-11 is right across the street and taxis / tuk tuks come by every minute, so easy to get around though not as busy as other areas. definitely recommend it!

Thank you for the excellent reception staff who made the checking in and out very hasslefree.The drinks counter staff were very good as they served me every evening for my request for ice.Your cafe staff were very good and your breakfast selection has improved and i enjoyed the wider variety. I noted that your hotel has implemented the new table mat which is very nice. PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW I CAN OWN ONE OF THE TABLE MAT AS A REMEMBRANCE OF MY STAY IN YOUR HOTEL.Your security guard helped me with the taxi to the airport.Overall a great experience. Thank you.

"quite nice as a whole"

As a whole , this hotel is quite nice . rooms are clean and tidy. Outside environment is not bad and good to fall in sleep. However, the staff are not so friendly ! as far as the traffice is concerned, it seems very convenience to take taxi and also the subway is not so far ! The room seems a bit small especially the shower , Furthermore, the television is also small too !

Good Location, reasonable price , everything was perfect about this hotel. I have stayed there for 2 weeks when I attended the German course at the Goethe Institute next door. Plenty of restaurants and markets. Love this location so much.

"Great value! Will definately return"

Pros: 5-10 minute walk to the Lumpini Station, quiet location, Great Service, Breakfast buffet had good variety, rooms were modern and comfortable, although a little on the small side (compact) but good value nonetheless, air con thankfully wasn't musty like other hotels we stayed at in this price range in Bangkok. CONS: Free Wifi only in the lobby (not in the room) , but I couldn't get it to work, but used my husband's computer instead (so likely my computer was the problem). Tried to stay an extra night we liked it so much, but the hotel was fully booked so be sure to book ahead.
