Bus from Incheon airport stops right in front of hotel. Hotel is centrally located in Suwon and is near the Metro station. Hotel provides shuttle bus services to Samsung. Hotel is close to shopping malls and restaurants area.

I stayed for two days at Suwon ibis hotel. While I was gone for work I asked make up room. When I came back I found some of my stuffs such as cosmetics, razor, tooth brush etc. were disappeared. The front guy said that a cleaner thought I checked out then she found something weird (because I left my clothing too) so put back some of my stuffs. That made me really angry. If she found something weird she should have asked or called the front or me first. Staffs apologized me and gave my stuffs back (they said the cleaner put mine to "lost-and-found". I highly doubt that. Because it seemed and smelled someone washed my stuffs by detergent. Should I say "Do not touch my stuffs" before I leave? This is totally ridiculous. I'm a regular customer of this hotel. But I have never experienced this situation ever. I do not think they apologized enough.

clean, good bed, convenient place to ride public transport. there are lots of restaurants, department store and big market arounds hotel. Whole steps was so kind and nice. Here is good place to look around Suwon in Korea.

Very convenient location, friendly and helpful staff. Only complaint is that the information in the room and on display is out of date. The "Bar and brasserie" has gone, replaced by an enormous Starbucks but is still listed. So, the information about breakfast times (I had an early departure) is wrong. If you ask the staff, all is clear.

As a business traveller, I am staying at many hotels and I am only staying within the Accor Group of hotels. The Ibis Suwon unfortunately doesn't belong to my top facilities. On my last trip I arrived from Hong Kong where I stayed at the Novotel Kowloon. The Novotel has nice room sizes, nice bathroom settings and is overall very friendly. The Ibis Suwon was a bit of a shock. My room was on the 12th floor with a nice view onto another wall. The room's carpet hadn't been cleaned for a very long time (dirt in the corners and staines). Definitely not a room where I would walk barefoot (in HK no problems). The I discovered the bath cubicle - yes - a bath cubicle as you would usually be used to from the Formula 1 hotels. No place where you could leave your shaver, indeed anything. They cramped the toilet, the shower and everything else into a tiny space. Let's call it practical but sure not nice. Because I stay always with Accor, the Ibis was the only choice in Suwon. All other Accor Hotels were too far away; so I had to stay there. But following the nice environment of the Novotel in Kowloon this Ibis wasn't pretty. The English skills of the staff was very limited (which is OK but unexpected). Last but not least, charging 22,000 WON for the breakfast is steep. It wasn't bad but when I tried ordering a poached egg, no-one could understand, so I just settled for a sunny side up. The Ibis Suwon is OK - but just OK. Except if you love heated toilet seats, then it's great :)
