Novotel Edinburgh Park: 5.0 out of 5 stars "A relaxing place for business"

20th May 2012, Plymouth, United Kingdom

I stayed at this for 3 nights. The checking process was very easy and fast. The staff at the reception were very helpful and accommodating. My room was nicely quiet and clean as expected of a 4star hotel. The bed was comfortable. There was a minibar in my room and this was stocked with soft drinks and water . In short I am struggling to find ometjing negative to write and can confidently recommend this hotel anyone.

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Fun in Edinburgh"

10th May 2012, prbbertin, London, United Kingdom

Our stay at Novotel Edinburgh Park was great! Although the hotel is not located centrally in the city, it is just in front of a train station, with easy connection to city centre. Good value for money and great fun with the kids in the swimming pool area...

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Stayed with a friend before flying to Amsterdam the following day."

8th May 2012, aerodynamic_uk, Dundee, United Kingdom

This was the second time I've stayed at this Novotel. It's located roughly 6km west of Edinburgh city center. It is ideally placed if you are looking to spend time in Edinburgh and be close to the airport for that early flight next morning. The airport is less than 10 minutes drive from the airport (assuming you're avoiding the rush hour traffic). The hotel is easy to find by car and has some superb facilities (gym, swimming pool etc.). If you are looking to spend some time in Edinburgh, the train station and bus stop are less than 3 minutes walk from the front door of the hotel. An off-peak return ticket to Edinburgh Waverly station only cost £3.70. Alternatively, the friendly reception staff will organize a taxi for you upon request. My room was absolutely spotless and very pleasant, featuring a quality wall-mounted LCD TV. My (twin) room had no bath but the shower was superb. The beds were very comfortable. I had no issues with noise or temperature. My only quibble was that I had a bit of a struggle to get the window open - wasn't sure if it was a faulty mechanism or just me being heavy-handed.I love the design and ambiance of this hotel - especially the reception area. A visit to this hotel does not come not cheap, but I felt the extra money was well spent. So, if you can afford the rates I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Novotel.

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Novotel Edinburgh Park"

11th April 2012, rock1andy, Tyne and Wear

Nice hotel in a location you wouldn't think. It's half hour by car to the city centre and i would strongly recommend you make the journey. Food, as at most hotels, is over priced for what it is. We travelled out to the city centre and had some gorgeous food and a great time. The food and travelling cost a load less than eating at the hotel. And we managed a drink to boot! The only down side of the stay for us was the wifi didn't work on our floor. They offered us a free hours worth of wifi but we couldn't use it because it didn't work. No amount of times telling them about it would make it work.

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent value Sunday night stay"

23rd February 2012, Leicester, United Kingdom

This was excellent value on a Sunday night. Possibly reduced by a lot because it was the end of half term and the hotel was empty. The room was clean and fully equipped. Very quiet. I didn't use the pool but it looked good and the breakfast was good which was half price if booked online.

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Novotel Hotel Edinburgh Park"

20th February 2012, London, United Kingdom

Hotel situated a few minutes walk to Edinburgh Park staion. Only two stops from Edinburgh town centre. £2.80 rtn. Hotel had good facilities. Bar with large plama screen Good restaurant and swimming pool with steam room. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Excellent breakfast buffet. Food was checked and regularly refilled. Rooms were large and well equipped. However, hotel is close to railway station and noise from trains is bearable. Overall, good experience. Would stay again.

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Business Trip to Edinburgh"

18th February 2012

Quite simply the best hotel of its class and size that I have stayed in in the UK. Friendly, helpful staff. excellent facilities, good food and right on the doorstep for the business park. Superb value.

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 5.0 out of 5 stars "First Class"

13th February 2012, Newcastle, United Kingdom

The hotel is a little remote , however it is a first class hotel , i found the staff very helpful and friendly , the room was vey clean modern and comfortable, and the food at both dinner and breakfast very good in particular the breakfast , highly recommended

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Nice hotel"

8th February 2012, Inverness

We stayed here for the Rugby weekend in February, the hotel was obviously busy. We checked in around 1.30pm and were given a room straight away which was nice considering check-in is 2pm or after. The main reception area, Bar & Restaurant are all open, light and airy as are the rooms. The menu was varied and the food we ordered for both lunch & dinner was good albeit a bit pricey. Edinburgh Park is only 1 stop from Haymarket so a perfect location for Murrayfield, once the general surroundings and tram-works are finished i'd recommend it however it's a bit of an eye-sore at the moment. My only complaint would be the staff weren't at all friendly, on reception nor restaurant/bar.

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Decent hotel but the training for the check inn staff is useless"

7th February 2012, Dresden, Germany

The hotel is on the outskirts of edinburgh, the train station is a 5 minute walk and it takes 10mins to the city centre. The rooms are large and comfortable with an excellent breakfast. But I have now stayed in two Accor Group hotels in Edinburgh over the last 3 months and check inn has never been smooth and has caused unnecessary hassle thoughout the stay. It points to either poor staff training or terrible check inn software probably both. If they can solve these issues its a good hotel

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Novotel Edinburgh Park"

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 5.0 out of 5 stars "novotel edinburgh park"

3rd October 2011, Airdrie, United Kingdom

The hotel is well run very clean, nice rooms and the service is good as well and it is a very good hotel to relax in and you are only 200 yards away from the train station and 10 mins away from edinburgh centre. Thoroughly recommend.

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Stay August 25-27, 2011"

8th September 2011

The Novotel Edinburgh Park is a good commercial hotel on the outskirts of Edinburgh, with good rail access to the City Centre (Waverley/Prince's Street). It was not my first choice, but because of the Edinburgh Festival there were no good alternatives in the centre at a price I was prepared to pay. The Novotel was relatively expensive even though the facilities were very good. I paid more than I had budgeted for.

Novotel Edinburgh Park: 3.0 out of 5 stars "BUMPED!"

2nd September 2011, Peterhead

I had reserved a room at the Edinburgh Novotel for 24th Aug well in advance but when I arrived I was told the hotel was full and I was invited to stay a the nearby Holiday Inn so I've no idea what the hotel is like!
