Been a couple of years since we last stayed , staff were always friendly and helpful. Bit annoyed we have to pay for parking on top of our hotel price, should really be free if staying in the hotel. £8 a night and it’s discounted, seems steep! One thing I was a bit concerned about on our second morning at breakfast it was really busy, and hope I’m wrong. We think someone didn’t eat their pancakes that they left on the table, sure we saw the lady who seated us. Pop the pancakes back onto the buffet as the plate she was holding was dirty! We also had an executive room which should have had a working safe, it didn’t, also bathrobes and slippers it didn’t. The bathroom ceiling tiles hadn’t been replaced back properly after work had been done. All little things, but our 3 night stay wasn’t cheap, especially when you add on the extra for breakfast, and the parking. Not sure if we would stay again, in a hurry especially after spending over £500.

The most enjoyable experience the place was so clean bright and the staff were welcoming and so kind and friendly to me after a flight cancelled and a bad experience with the airline, they were so lovely when we arrived family of 4.

Stayed for 2 evenings of the Easter weekend with my husband and 2 children (aged 9 and 10). We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic for anyone looking to explore Edinburgh but stay outside the city centre. Transport links to the city centre are fantastic. The hotel has everything a family staying away would look for. Plenty activities for the kids in the hotel lounge and obviously the swimming pool is an added bonus. Breakfast was brilliant with plenty options for everyone, a great way to get fueled up for a busy day. We will definitely book to stay again.
