ibis Mall Of The Emirates: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Hotel Rating"

21st May 2012, haithamsaead, Riyadh

This is one of the best hotels for business travelers who are looking for value for money. Not luxurious at all but very clean, practical and down to earth hotel with excellent service.

ibis Mall Of The Emirates: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Accessible stay"

9th April 2012, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

I recently stayed in IBIS Mall of the Emirates with my sister who just visited me for 72 hours and I chose to stay here because of the good location--near the mall and Metro station and other establishments like the bar.As a Le Club member, I hope that the facilities in the room like the lights will be checked and the staff will acknowledge my constructive advice. I value accorhotels tha's why if I see something that needs to improve on I usually say that when I checked out. Unfortunately, the front desk did not value it.However, for travelers who would like to have a short stay, IBIS is recommended.

ibis Mall Of The Emirates: 4.0 out of 5 stars "It is very good for single visitor"

4th March 2012, Kuwait City, Kuwait

Hi, Hotel is very good in every thing. But rooms are very small. If visitor is single so this hotel is very good choice. But I prefer next time I will have more choices from IBIS suitable for families. For example for husband and wife and child we need as standard suite.Rooms need walk clock, bathroom shoe, plastic bags for trash, more lights, and confirmation that room window is reflective, and WIFI inside rooms. Thanks a lot.Anas

ibis Mall Of The Emirates: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis Mall of the Emirates - one of the better 3 star hotels in Dubai"

27th February 2012, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Be sure to tell the taxi driver VERY, VERY clearly that is is Ibis Mall of the Emirates nest to Novotel Suites. Otherwise they will take you to Ibis further down the road to which is another AED7 to the taxi charge. There is no drinking water in the rooms but if you go downstairs to the convenience store you can pick up from there until 2:30am in the morning. The DG Sharif Metro Train, or Emirates Mall are only 5-10 minutes walk either direction. If you have a lot to carry, then you better take a cab. This probably one of the better 2-3 star hotels you can find around Dubai. Service is friendly, flexible, calm and clear, and I have to say tolerant as well because there are difficult guests that do test them. Breakfast if you take it has a relatively goods selection of hot and cold items for the price that you pay. For dinner, the seafood in the Restaurant is surprisingly fresh for what I expected. Rooms are clean, but there is no in-room safe although the safety deposit boxes are available in the lobby. I enjoyed my stay and if you are someone that doesn't mind a short walk to transport systems and malls, this place is fine. Best time of the year to go is November to April when the weather is much cooler.

ibis Mall Of The Emirates: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Simple but all you need"

4th September 2011, Riyadh

This Ibis hotel is located a few minutes walk from Mall of the Emirates and about 15 minutes by taxi from the airport. It's the perfect central location if you plan on doing things across the different areas of Dubai, including Downtown (Burj Khalifa), Jumeirah and Dubai Marina. The cafe and restaurant downstairs are both very clean and tidy with good menus. Everything is kept simple and of high quality which is why I have stayed here often when in Dubai.

ibis Mall Of The Emirates: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Pleasant break in Dubai"

24th July 2011, Budapest

It was our 2nd Ibis hotel experience in Dubai. In December 2009 we had staied in the Ibis Al Barsha. On both occasions, in 2009 and now in July 2011. We had very positive experiences with Ibis. The staff was very friendly and efficient, the rooms were clean and quiet, adequate for 2 adults 1 child for a short stay. The breakfast was good, wide choice of quality food. We had 4 hours jetlag, so the 24/7 service was very handy. I, am looking forward to our return. Thanks very much.

ibis Mall Of The Emirates: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Useless Duty Manager"

11th May 2011, London

I stayed at the Ibis MOE for a weekend (Thursday / Friday nights). Check-in went OK, as did Thursday night. On Friday night a group of noisy children arrived. Saturday morning the children went around banging on other customers doors to annoy / wake them up. I spoke with the manager and asked for a security guard to be located on the 4th floor to stop the children disturbing other customers. The manager promised me that the noise / disruption would stop. Ibis decided not to station a security guard on the 4th floor and so not surprisingly the notice / disturbances continued. Since I couldn't stand the noise any longer I decided to check out a few hours earlier than planned. By the time I came to check out the manager I had spoken to home had gone home and the Duty Manager (Faith) refused to call him on the telephone. She had independently decided not station a security guard as requested, despite my earlier request. There was however a security guard in the lobby who was keeping the children quiet. She was totally unable to explain why she couldn't put a security guard on the fourth floor. I spent 20 fruitless minutes talking to her. If she had worked for me I would have fired her the same day for her poor customer care. I even had to push her to escalate the complaint as she was initially very reluctant to do so. Fortunately the next day I was contacted by one of her managers who has offered me a free upgrade to the Novotel Suites next door during my next visit to Dubai, which I intend to take up. So in the end I did get some recompense from Accor but no thanks to the daytime Duty Manager Faith. Quite a shame really as the rooms and general hotel were much better than the Ibis at World Trade Center which is very tired and urgently in need of maintenance. As a regular Ibis / Novotel customer I was very disappointed by Duty Manager Faith's inaction / attitude. The only other downside of the Ibis MOE is the bar, very little choice of beers, small and absolutely no tequila despite a cocktails menu!Hopefully my experience is just due to 1 bad apple at the Ibis MOE, I will check if she is still there when I return in June to Novotel Suites.Keith Miller

4th May 2011, London, United Kingdom

This hotel is truely value for money besides the location is great only a few minutes from the world famous MALL OF THE EMIRATES.They should not increase the room rates at all. They are fine for the service they are providing.

ibis Mall Of The Emirates: 1.0 out of 5 stars "Prison is better"
