"One nte stay"

We found this hotel very good for our purpose for we only used it for the bed .We did not use the bar or the restaurant so can not give a verdict on them .The only thing that is a problem is the paying for car parking.There is no pricing on their web page that you will be charged and being a GUEST why do we pay.FIGHT AGAINST CAR PARK FEES.

"Good, quiet place to stay"

Very efficient, friendly staff; quiet, cool bedroom, with comfortable amenities for an overnight stay.Breakfast was a bit frantic because of the many other guests: must be a really good place to stay!!

"Superior Rooms not very Superior"

I have stayed here on a number of occassions. This time we booked a 'Superior' room. However is is no different to the standard room, except it is a little larger & has a 'daybed' (a sort of bed/sofa that is not really comfortable to sit on). Not worth the extra. The advertised internet in room is an expensive pay-for item. (You get 15 mins free wifi in reception but this is not really long enough).The location is good for the tennis as its near the metro station. They do not hike their prices during the two weeks of the Open in January, but it was much more expensive this year than previously. Breakfasts have also gone up considerably.Good pay-for underground parking. Lots of restaurants near by.

"weekend getaway"

Although we live in western Melbourne, Glen Waverley I bis is an ideal getaway for my husband and I. Cinemas, a myriad of restaurants, shopping centre are all within walking distance of the hotel. The staff are always helpful and friendly, the hotel was clean and welcoming. Great value.

"Good location but pricey"

Good location with access to restaurants, supermarkets, shopping mall. Rate far too high for a 4* hotel with minimum facilities. Breakfast offers poor value. Warm foods not warm and selection very basic, eg: no yogurt and sometimes run out of fruit juice

"Excellent Value"

Recently spent 2 nights at Ibis, Glen Waverley and were pleasantly surprised at this excellent hotel. Meal facilities were not great however, and not available every night so we walked up the road to Novotel (only a few doors away) for breakfast and dinner. Would definitely stay here again.

Had to wait two or three minutes before a receptionist appeared from the office to check us in. Rubbish and crockery left in corridor for the duration of our stay. Hot food at breakfast was not replenished to meet demand.Rooms were clean and of a good standard for a budget hotel chain.

"Short Weekend"

Friendly and helpful staff with directions. Close to local shops and train station. A bit out of the CBD but train ride is about 20 mins into the city. Cozy and quiet for good sleep. All in all a great weekend!

I stayed at the hotel because it was local to my meetings over the two days...I feel it was expensive compared to other hotels in Melbourne and should have included breakfast at the price...I was not going to pay another $25 for breakfast at a hotel of this standard...I dont think I will stay there again...

"Value for Money"

We have stayed at this Hotel on several occasions and have always found the Hotel excellent value for money. Particularly on this latest occasion when we had a deal of $58/night for the room. With car parking and breakfast we paid under $100 for the stay.We look forward to staying at the Ibis Glen Waverley again.

"Great room at a great price"

From the moment you walk in the front door of this hotel and are greeted by the freindly reception staff you know your stay will be pleasent. The Hotel looks and feels very modern and new. The room was more spacious than I had expected and had all the amenaties you could need and a fully fitted bathroom. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Glen Waverly area.
