"Overnight at IBIS Glenwaverly"

Chose this hotel to be close to other children at university and then easy to get to airport next day. Alternative was airport hotels which when you needed two rooms were getting expensive to only just steep. This hotel presented clean but othewise basic accomodation at good value cost.

We needed to be close to family as we had a wedding to attend and the Ibis fitted the bill. To our delight, we were able to snare a great rate for our stay. The staff were extremely helpful for my mother's mobility needs and ensured that the room we booked was an adjoining one for another relative travelling with us. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient to shops, cafes and transport yet in a quiet spot. The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms were well appointed.

Good location for our purpose of visit (visiting relatives) and discounted p[rice was very good value. Nothing flash, but functional. Good selection of restaurants within easy walk of hotel.

Value for money, upgraded the room into queen n daybed as we have 1kid staying with us. Location in the glen waverley, within walking distance, there are plenty of restaurants and cafe. Buffet breakfast is excellent but parking is additional $17 for hotel guest.

"Friendly Service"

We recently stayed over the Easter weekend with our 11 week old baby. The service we received was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. They even organised a baby bath from a sister hotel (which was delivered by their manager at the end of their shift!). The desk staff were always friendly and remembered us each time we came in and out and asked about our stay. The rooms were well set up for a business traveller but were a little cramped when you add a cot.

The room was good and bed was very comfortable. We obtained the room at a very good price but I think that paying $17 for parking is too much.

"Great location to meet simple requirements"

As far a room a great location goes, if you are looking value for money within the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, then this hotel ticks all the boxes. Whilst it is not the usual 5-star location you may all come accustomed to, it does provide a great facility in a great location with access to all ammeneties required to enjoy your stay.

"Refreshing"

Usually I stay in the city and travel by train to Glen Waverly for business. The quality and value for money of the city hotels is nowhere near the value from this Ibis hotel. So nice just to have clean rooms! Fed up with dirty carpets and tiny rooms in the city. The range of restaurants next door at the Novotel is also a big plus.

"Ibis Glen Waverly"

Room was a little small although okay for 1 night. Mini bar was empty. It would have been nice to have the option of a water. Service from bar staff and room service was pleasant. Meal from room service was lovely.

Dear Sirs,Tank you for your feedback.I have a claim regarding to service at yours hotel.Since 21.01.12 to 30.01.12 I was staying at the IBIS Glen Waverley hotel room #526. On the arriving day (21.01.12) the the man at reception told me that I have to leave some money for safety reason. At that moment I did not have cash and the man told me that VISA is also acceptable. So, I gave him my VISA card. He assured me if nothing wrong happen while my staying at the hotel the money will be returned back. On the departure day (30.01.12) I cheked at the reception that everything was OK and no any charges except 19.95 AUD for movie service that I paid by cash. When I returned home I checked in my bank that I was charged for 100 AUD for nothing. So, can I get my money back, please.If you need on any proofs about that I could present the issue of my bank.With Best RegardsRakhimP.S.As for cleanliness, so I noticed that ventilation grid in the bathroom is very dusty. While I getting shower some dusty flaks droped on my body.

On checkout this security 'hold' would remain for up to 5 working days only therefore I would expect this money has been returned by this time. I would please ask however, that if there remains any issue here please contact the hotel and we will have this matter recitifed immediately. "Conveniently located"

Although the hotel is located a fair distance from Melbourne, it is conveniently located to the Glen Waverley station, as well as the Glen Waverley shopping and restaurant precinct.The staff were friendly, and room was well presented. However, I would not recommend bringing a car, as the parking is charged per day of the stay (which was very expensive). The bar is open 24 hours, which is a bonus. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting the city, but do not want to stay in the CBD

"great central location to shops and services"

enjoyed the easy access to the shopping centre,the varying food places and quick easy access to the Monash freeway into Melbourne CBD. The staff were friendly and helpful with good hints shopping areas and places to see.
