I have said room value was not great, however I realise it is about location, so, I conceed value is OK but only OK taking into consideration the room size.The staff were friendly and professional and the room very clean.Thank you.

We had a gift card to use on our stay and there was some confusion with how this was to be used. Over the phone I was told that I could book online and take the card in and use it to be reimbursed. I was then told that this is not the normal procedure and that it shouldn't be paid up front when using a gift card. The management was very good with sorting out this problem and I am happy with the outcome.It was just poor communication from the start.

Good points - Hotel is ideally situated at Darling Harbour. 2 minute walk to the ferry for Central Pier (where a lot happens). 2 minute walk to the quays with lots of excellent restaurants and night life. City Tour Hop On Hop Off bus (pass valid for 24 hrs) stops across the road.Bad points - room was quite small with no hooks in bathroom to hang used towels.

My wife and enjoy the accommodation given we expected smaller rooms from Ibis. The location, 1 street back from the wharf was not an issue. The staff were extremely helpful and we would definately stay there again.
