Although the Hotel is 25 minutes away from the centre (by metro), the locality is quite decent. The view from most of the higher floors was brilliant (something I had requested for at the reception and the staff was happy to give me what I asked for). The service was excellent as the staff went out of their way to help me with directions to trains station, city maps, printing tickets for FC Barcelona football game and storing my luggage for many hours after I checked out.I had pretty much nothing to compare about (bearing in mind the low price I had to pay on Friday and Saturday nights in a city like Barcelona). I wouldn't ask for more.

Nice and fresh environment. However rooms with three beds for adults should be made available.Breakfast just enough, fresh fruit salad and salmon would increase the value of the service.Very friendly staff at the front desk and at the cafeteria.

Although this hotel offers superb clean and excellent new rooms and a wonderful location it is completely let down by poorly trained and completely incompetant staff. Check in / out takes about 30 minutes and breakfast is so badly staffed that nothing is available. Little or no coffee, then only warm at best. Not replenished when empty. Fruit juices all empty and not replenished. No bread for self cutting was available for 4 days even though a knife was left out to cut the bread but no bread! Only sliced bread for toast and rolls, however the one toaster took about 5 minutes to make toast. I refused to pay for any breakfast as it was quite unacceptable, and the manager seemed to not be surprised as if every guest routinely refused to pay for breakfast. No room numbers were taken when attending breakfast as the one member of staff looking after the breakfast was absent most of the time...
