Nice hotel, well location, lots of parking, lovely views, not ideal if you have no car as is a couple of km out of town. Good value for money.

We have booked 2BR apartment and rooms were excellent. The view, though not the lake view, were great. Only a bit disappoinment was the hot pool's tempurature was not so high. In the cold weather we expected a bit warmer temp.

Again, another enjoyable stay. We have stayed at the Oakridge a couple of times now and it is always great. The staff go out od their way to help out. We have only one complaint, the ceilings are very thin, if you're in a ground floor room you can hear everybody walking around upstairs even more so when somebody in wearing high heels. Having said that, everything else more than makes up for this small annoyance.

Well now that I havd grabbed your attentions with the Title, I simply have to say I have NO complaints.How could I possibly complain when the two great ladies meet me at the front counter, upon my return to discuss the little issue with the occupants next door Nothing was a problem( my only problem is I have forgottern thiers names!!) and they soon had me moved into another room away from the din..Dinning was great, great food and wine and the two gentleman working the floor (Chris and Sebastion) added to my trip to Wanaka an experiance that I will not forget for some time to come!!!This is not a paid review, please feel free to contact me on [--] to discuss if required!!best regardsBrett Lindsay
"A Good place to stay in Wanaka"

Our room had a washing machine and dryer which was very handy. The hotel was located out of town but if you have a car only 5 minutes to get to everything. Swimming pool was outside and some distance from our unit but appeared to be OK. Not very handy in cold weather. There was a nice outdoor area with lawn just outside the room. Newspaper and internet were complimentary. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Very good pool area but the room we had very compact we did get an upgrade which was still small but in a better position on the complex. Only had one meal in the restaurant not the best we complained as did the table next to us.

Had an amazing stay at this resort/hotel. After the first night in a hotel room we decided to upgrade to a 1 br apartment and were incredibly lucky to get one in the front row with no other units in front. Had extremely beautiful views from the whole apartment and the apartment standard itself was excellent. In addition the hotel pools were fantastic and the front reception staff were very friendly and helpful.Location is a little out of town but with a car we actually enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location.

This was an average hotel, what let it down was the noisiness and servicing of the room. You could clearly hear the neighbours through the walls and all around. The servicing was not organised at all. The basics such as emptying the bin, providing towels and a bath mat was not done, also one of the days we were there we had to ask for a service to be done at 7pm as nothing had been done all day when we were out. The room itself was fine and all other facilities including the restaurant and spa/pools. It was a shame about the rest.

"fantastic hotel"

Great hotel, room was nicely decorated, bed very comfortable, food in the restuarant was very excellant. Unfortunately it was raining went we were these so we didn't get to try the hot spring pool, I was looking forward to trying these out. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wanaka

Unfortunately our "superior" room was very disappointing. Felt like living in a box.The cocktails at the bar were less than impressive. An "OK - make do" room for a one night stay but wouldn't visit again.

As an accor member this was the third time ive stayed here.We choose this resort as its close to treble cone ski field and they have good hot poolsand spa facilities for apres ski.The downside we feel is that the rooms are far too small we have stayed in a standard modern block apartment which was so tiny no room for anything in there ,fridge stored in the closet so takes up hanging space and also could only open one side of the door .If you got lots of luggage like us for a 2 week ski trip then the last thing you want is to have to climb a shared narrow stair well struggling with bags.Last year and this year we stayed in a superior room which although there is a bit more space these are very dated apartments,need a good overhaul,they put us in the same apartment as last time,same terrible bed with a big slump in middle ,filthy walls,the same tea stained curtains and the flooring needs renewed.Although the room had clean sheets and towels refreshed each day nothing wrong with the cleanliness of the linen I guess they can only do the best with what they got.As far as value goes was far less expensive to stay in the novotel lakeside queenstown even the sofitel represented greater value for a little extra very hard to justify staying here again.We ordered breakfast and had to wait one hour and fifteen minutes before they could materialise one omelette,and one eggs benedict,the excuse was we have a large table in for breakfast which consisted of eight people,another couple walked out as tired waiting.My husband had to inform front desk that we wouldnt be checking out at 10.00am as we were still waiting on breakfast.There are clearly some issues regards staff and managment,over the last 2 years we have stayed here,we have encountered and experienced rude staff,unable to meet hotel guests requests,wrong billing,average food ,and to be honest never made to feel comfortable using our member cards.This resort could be so much better also we realise there are also 2 bedroom apartments but quite frankly cant justify the cost for poor customer service .

Room was great and the kitchen was well used during the stay. Highly recommend the hotel. Pool and spa area were great and spotlessly clean. Alover if staying in Wanaka would stay again this is the fifth time I have stayed there.

We stayed only one night but had a great time using the pool and the spa's, it is a quick drive into Wanaka and we were both very comfortable. The front of house staff were very helpful and welcoming.

From our first view of the premises to our last swim in the hot pools our stay was all we had expected. Friendly staff and great amenities mean it would be hard not to be happy after staying here.The rooms were warm and spacious even though there was snow on the ground outside.It was a shame to have to leave and I guarantee we will be back.

Was a little disappointed with the service prior to arrival as I thought the staff member that I conversed with through emails was quite rude and abrupt. But once we arrived all staff were very friendly and helpful. Changed my opinion of the resort. Overall a very pleasant holiday. The food was great and the spa and pools were amazing to relax in after a long day.
